This is not your everyday digging at Propst Farm. The owner of the farm Ronald needed new well dug on the property. This year I have been working with Ronald on projects around the property and farm. This was a job that I couldn't sleep the night before but not for the typical reason. Knowing the water lines had to be hooked up after the well was dug we could only dream about what corundum ruby and sapphire could possibly be unearthed without the hard labor digging. The entire experience provided a very educational summary of what lies below the surface. Needing to hook up water to the barn and the house from the well a trench had to also be dug. The trench cut through some of our old previous digging grounds in his yard up to 18 inches deep and about 8 inches wide just below the frost freeze line. We both held our breath waiting for a soda can size corundum to flop out while trenching. The trench was dug and afterwards all the clay and soil needed to be replaced. This video will take you along with me during this process to see what was unearthed. I have never enjoyed working so much. During my breaks I had the opportunity to hang out with a subscriber of the channel Don who was there digging corundum on a one-day dig all the way from Ohio. Knowing he had a big drive ahead of him after a hard day digging. I offered to fill in his hole after his dig. Like a energizer bunny even after filling in 400 yards of trenched dirt I could not pass the opportunity to exploring further what he dug previously. There is a joke around the farm that when we stop digging and all the good crystals are 3 inches from where we stopped. This wasn't true in his hole but the ground he was digging was very productive. After a few hours of poking around myself I unearthed some treasure. This was the cherry on top of two wonderful days of working on the farm. Now that the summer heat has arrived and the ground is beginning to cook these crystals become quite challenging to find during the summer. Fingers crossed for some upcoming rain to dampen the soil to dig some more.

Nice job Granam. I was wondering if we needed to go deeper. What a ice looking find!

That one was wider. Definitely was another quartz line deeper but I really just scratched around under the burn pile. They were somewhat sporadic though. Glad you made it home safe look forward to seeing you soon.

I do think we need to go deeper. I found a couple smalls that were well formed in that lower layer . It might be easier to dig next time. It was surely hard pack.

somewhere in NorCal. shoving off to the rr track that was abandoned in the 60s following a 500 year flood. Corundum as ballast, whooda thot? Very crusty and molested of edge and angle during his subductive deposition and concurrent alluvial libertinism, old mr. coru still pops. PEACE!

You have the option of Propst Farm . You can contact the owner via text though the Facebook page. Propst Farm Facebook page. Emerald Hollow Gem Mine is another spot that could make turning 40 a lot better and add some memories. Propst is a challenging dig it takes some hard work to get rewarded but it happens.
