Diggin' In The Tapes | Live Wire Chronicles Episode 1

In this episode of Diggin’ In the tapes we roll back to 2006 when I decided to build a Model A coupe that later became “Live Wire”. The idea was to build a 1958 period correct show car with the help of my talented friends and make a documentary style film about it. Since I was between MFS Vol 5 and 6 I decided to do a special DVD called “MFS 5.5 The Live Wire Chronicles” that followed along with the build much like we are doing with “Car That Ate My Brain 2” building Tweedy Pie. In this first episode I give a little history of what I collected and had a frame built by ​⁠‪@bobbleed‬ so Bob and Johnny flew out to help make the car a roller. Factory valve covers on that caddy? Ive got a bored out 331 with isky adjustable rockers and I need a set that clears.

Yeah I found them a long time are and they were done in the 60’s it had hammer marks on the back of them.. whoever did it did a good job.. chromer did a nice job too :) I’ve heard stories from old timers that used spoons to make knuckles do valve covers to clear..
