Another magnificent video!. I was totally mesmerised with what you guys dug up and to think they have been buried for all those years. And I love the fact that your video's are nearly an hour long. Thank you for sharing.

Another great video. I have never seen so many people with metal detector in one place and I was amazed with all the bottles that have been found and all of them were in great condition. Can't wait to see the next video.

The teapot! Unbelievable! As I watch I forget to breathe. Lol. When you locate a pit is the most exciting. I feel so excited with every item brought up! Thank you, Tony. You have the respect of your "brothers" and that speaks volumes about you. Still trying to catch up on the uploaded digs but I can't rush,.,so much to enjoy!

I know this video is old but since you can take 4 wheelers out there, I'm just wondering if you could have a plow on the front? Might make filling holes easier.

It definitely would make it easier! We just never made the investment. Great idea!

@@trentsmillmansion1 I have never needed one for anything myself living in TN we dont get that much snow, and I have a tractor for my driveway, but I bet they are probably a big investment. I was wondering if maybe there was a reason as to not using one. Thx very much for the response back.

@trentsmillmansion14 жыл бұрын
Good morning Steve! To date I have only found 3 picket posts and one Confederate bivouack camp. They both produced some great relics! Thank you for watching! If you ever want to come to Va to dig let me know!

Dumpsite Digger Thanks for the comment Jim! Trash pits were dug around 36" +/- by the soldiers, so finding those is like digging out a time capsule! Thanks for watching!

How do you guys get permission to search?
@trentsmillmansion14 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter! In this case the hunt organizers sign a contract with the landowner to rent the property for several days, then we all contribute toward that and dig together. Of course anyone can go and simply ask permission from a property owner to search their property.

BUDDY LIGHT Good question Buddy. Much of what you see here is because we are digging out soldier's trash pits and huts, which were dug below ground level.
