Love your WV marbles, sadly not many know the history of marbles and WV, along with the Glass history and WV.... I have some old ,"Dunbar Glass", Fostoria glass and of course Blenko and Fenton. Marble King, and WV just go hand'n'hand....I have a few, probably 50-60 marbles of dug over the years,....never knew much about the connection to WV, I just kept them bc I keep everything I dig, and bc I love glass.....my father- in -law , gave me some history on WV Marbles, he's gone now...Sadly he told me the whole layout on shooting marbles, when I found one here digging his property, I don't remember the rules, but he said the marbles I found, he and his friends(8-10 yo's) probably played with them....I put them an old medicine jar I dug on the property and gave the 6-8 I found, he put them in his kitchen window, and would always smile when he talked about shooting marbles on Chandlers Branch and 3 mile...I didn't recognize all his terminology ,I'm originally from Tampa moved here in 85 ......lol. but I loved the stories anyway. I fell in love with WV and it's Glass history. I have a major connection to artifacts and fossils in Tampa, from my bio-dad....but that's a chapter for another day. Happy Digging, Rock. I need to will my "digs" to someone, are you interested 🤔.

Everyday is a new day for better finds. 😁👍 That's just awesome. I'm so happy for you. You are truly the marble KING. How many marble collectors did you piss off today. Lol.😂 All the money they pay for awesome marbles at the shows. An you get to dig better marbles then they can buy from a dump. For no money at all. Just some hard work, some skeeter bites, an some sweat. An it's something you love to do as well. It does'nt get any better then that. What a life to live. An you get to take your momma some really cool things to when you find something she likes as well. Man what a terrible life you live. I can't see why anyone would won't to do the things you do. LoL. 😁👍 Your one of my best, when it comes to the best videos, an all the cool finds, an hard work. I gotta go, I've gotta get outta here. It's hard to leave when were finding the goods.😁 You run a dam close race with the chigg. (Aquachigger). You two an one more are about the only ones I watch. You guys are on a mission every video. Same as myself, when I'm out creek hunting or metal detecting. An I to love getting out there an finding the goods.. It's just something that you love dearly or you don't. An I'm always up for a new hunt. Everyday. Just like you guys. The marbles you found today are just out of this world awesome. Like I said I'm so happy for you an your finds. Well, I've said enough for now. Keep on keeping on brother. You can't find it, if your not out there looking. An I know your out there everyday putting in the time an hard work. So let's sleep on it, an thank about how tommorow is going to be even better then today was. Catch ya on the next video. Later. Oh an thanks a bunch for taken the time, to educate us all on the the native american finds (points) an all the other native finds, the marbles,an everything else you find. That means more to alot of people watching your videos then you know. As always safe an happy hunting/digging. 😁👍👍

That blue one is gorgeous. You know that case you got the marbles in, you could make it into a couche table with an under lighting. That way you could look at those beauties all the time. Even put a strip lighting just under it's top. Being able to see through them or in great light is what it is all about. Lol you could market more tables for other marble collectors too.have the marbles setting in that old wholed plasticky clear racks they used in the 30s. How did they make marbles any way? Marbles are best example of the use of milk glass. You would think the makes of other milk glass would of followed suite. Lol on FIRE!

Awesome. I had an old bottle digger get me into them back in the late 1980's. He took me to that marble dump at the marble factory I go to on here...I was hooked. There has to be dumps of this age around you with marbles. There as no trash pickup till like 1960 in most places. People just droove to a dump and threw it over a hill. Those are the only places I dig.....town dumps. That is where the marbles are.

I just dug a WV 1920s'40s dump and found 22 mibs; Akros, pelts and masters. I dig mostly late 1800s bottles but recently Ive been searching for early 1900s dumps for the marbles. The bottles are garbage from that era but the marbles are fucking fantastic from that era and you can usually find at least 4-10 nice ones per dig. And unlike finding pre machine made bottle dumps (which were largely dug up in the 70s) those early bottle diggers ignored the 20s-early 50s dumps obviously but now they are still fairly common and are great for mibs. Also, some of the best marbles Ive found have been in abandoned houses basements; just a few weeks ago I find a wet mint Akro Agate red white and blue Popeye in the corner of a basement.
