The good thing about recording gameplay is you can "cheat" & scrub back thru the footage if you get lost in caves. :P I don't remember when this was changed, but back in the day all armor gave the same protection - the different ores were durability only. If that's true for 1.0, iron armor is no different from diamond - and it would be better to use the iron on backup suits & save the diamond for tools, enchanting table, etc. Another great episode. Love the casual, laid back video style. Such a relief from modern Minecraft videos. And it feels appropriate for an older, laid back version. Also, @ 11:53, from now on if you see a mushroom under a floating block, you have to punch it - you'll get a one up. XD

I only have 7.5 armour bars, so I think diamond armour is actually better. This is at least after the point where armour durability directly translated into how effective it was.
