Listening to Robert in many interviews and now on this podcast it amazes me his knowledge of early American Blues, Folk, Rock, etc. Wouldn't it be FAB to see a multi part documentary on the subject hosted by Mr Plant? Touring across America visiting important studio's, stations, venues while sitting down with some of the folks that were (or near to) those Icons in the industry. Plant's passion and knowlege on the subject with desire to still learn would be perfect for such an imporant Musical HIstory Lesson.

I saw Robert at the Mann in Philadelphia about 3-4 years ago. Having been a fan of his solo work since the beginning I would not have been one bit disappointed if he didn’t do one Zep song. He did at least 5 as I recall and was astounded at his performance of them. Having grown up listening to Zep in the back seat of my parents car in the 70s Roberts solo efforts were kind of my Led Zeppelin when I really came of age of music in the early 80s. Thank you so much Robert for never dragging the legacy of the great Led Zeppelin around as a crutch so to speak to remain relevant like so many artist of your early era have and making great new music throughout the years.

I love these podcasts Robert does however, I just wish we could watch him talking instead of his picture. I'm 63 now and still enjoy blasting LED Zepplin and rocking out. Some of my ole classmates aren't interested in rock anymore, what a disappointment ..lol..I saw LED Zep a few times back in the 70's in San Diego and Los angeles..it was fabulous!..oh how I wished I could be his groupies but after hearing about the "shark" story with a groupie I knew I didn't have what it takes to be one..I've always been a wee bit proper and what that girl did (willingly) would be too demoralizing..I was so envious of Pam DeBarrs and Lori Lightening Maddox even though they were groupies with Jimmy Page. At least they could party with Robert and all the band members..I put meeting Robert on my bucket list many yrs ago so sad to say that one unfortunately won't be fulfilled (only in my dreams, lol..)..coming across Robert performing with Allison Krause blew me away!..listening to them perform some LED Zep songs in a totally different style was fantastic!..Roberts voice sounded so beautiful singing in a softer tone..I loved those songs as much as I do the original versions..xoxo..

It grates a bit on he older an like myself. Having experienced all of his solo works (Zep speaks for itself), I find it disquieting that we have six episodes and most , if not all, avoids perhaps the pinnacle of what Robert could have ever hoped for as a solo artist - Now & Zen . First of all, most "Plant Fans" could care less about Rod Stewart and that whole winged-tip-shoe anti-Rock theme. But regardless of this episode (which to ME is the weird chitt), the band members and song writers he had during Zen and flowing into Manic Nirvana were the best. The pinnacle. The shinning moment. Then he "grew up" . Which was, of course, a sad day for us all.............
