I have listenened and really enjoyed listening to Digging Deep A real insight into Robert Plant's personality ( i have loved him and his music for decades) Talking naturally and honestly about what inspires ,the creative process, ideas behind his music. His hilarious stories. Such an elocuent, funny, down to earth, lovely guy.❤ Robert Plant was born with the gift of that voice. The range, emotion, flows through his lyrics from his heart to mine.❤❤ Very few singers have this ability. Such lifelong passion for music. Ignited at such a young age by black Anerican blues artists. Rock n Roll artists.I love Robert's ever changing, creative, music. Evolving with life's journey and travel experiences. Robert so very young when he made his first record. Such huge fame, pressure In the Biggest most innavative ,best band that ever existed.Must have been great, but difficult. With a young family. So much love and respect for you ,Robert Plant. Your music has given me so much joy over the decades. Made me laugh. Made me cry. You always make me laugh. I adore you. I listen to Digging Deep before i go to sleep.( its the closest i will get to Robert🤣🤣💋💋) Digging Deep, hearing Robert's beautiful voice, has been an absolute treat. Puts a big smile on my face. Thank You so much Robert...🥰🥰🥰 Without lockdown you would never have had the time to stop and reflect. Always a positive comes from a negative. Everything in life happens for a reason i believe. Your music has been part of my life since i was 16. 1975. Loved zep, your solo albums, space shifters, Amazing Grace, also your beautiful collaberation with Aliison. It works. Both so differrent. But perfect duo together. So lovely to hear Allison chatting. You both must have had so much fun. Robert Plant, you are amazing. You work so hard. No idea where you get your huge energy from. Touring, travelling, singing, writing. Producing the most amazing live performance and music... You and your music are so very loved, by so many. You are unique very talented, gifted, bloody gorgeous, sexy man.Tall tool and soo sexy , you stick collecting one. ❤❤ Thanks for the music . Bring it on. Mucho love to you handsome , misty mountain man...🥰🥰💋💋xxxx

Many thanks & appreciation, this was a real pleasure Matt ...getting both artists 🎨 on the show was a great welcome surprise. Just caught this episode I think Alison said it all when she brought up " Don't approach the song the way it is or how someone thinks you should, ( throw the chips up in the air and watch where they fall...) " right songs & in a sense, you have to make it your own or it will come off fake like she said. And sometimes it can be just the song selections alone. I think it came off real & natural, song line up is a perfect fit , I think they both put alot of heart & soul in each song. Fantastic interview🦋🖤🪄🔮

Robert is such an inspiring and innovative artist at the commendable and respectable age of 73! Such a pleasure to listen to him talking and all the more in this episode with bluegrass queen Alison Krauss! The two are a fantastic duo indeed! I love their collaborative albums as well as this absolutely fantastic podcast! Matt Everitt is a great journalist and very warm host. 10/10 for this podcast, dear Planty! Keep on rockin' out in the free world! All the best, much health, take care, stay safe, many blessings, and great peace your way! God bless you to everyone reading this and rock on! 😊🙏✌☮🤘

You legend you! I walked into a pub in Primrose Hill in 1988 and your bum and gold locks greeted me! You were leaning on the bar and talking to someone with black curly long hair! I worked at The Primrose Healing Centre and Ken, my then boyfriend owned it which was right up the mews next to this pub. The minute I twigged it was you, I gasped. You must have heard me cause you and your friend never turned around you just disappeared up the back stairs! I ordered two drinks where you stood and said to my boyfriend, ( still in shock!) “ Was that Robert Plant?” And he just shook his head yes, “ oh yeah, he comes in here all the time, he lives around here” I was agape! I asked my boyfriend why he didn’t tell me that! ( I am American and saw Zep a couple of times as a teen in the 1970’s!!) His answer, “ I didn’t know you liked him!” Wtf me?? Yeah we didn’t last long after that! So close yet… so what a treat these Digging Deep podcasts are!!! You are just amazing Robert! Your voice, your great songs and stories! Bless you and long May you Ramble on! ❤️🙏😍✌️😊🙌

Series 5? Fantastic. Even if you've lived in a cave, or lived through a religion, or a culture that didn't allow RocknRoll. Or maybe grew up in a Cave that was Disco-only,, .. So you never heard of Led Zeppelin, you can still learn ftom 25 minutes of Robert. Listen to his great use of the English language. Wisdom, perspective from a man who literally had the world by the tell for a majority of his adult life. Otherworldly talented. You can have a laugh as well and get turned on to great music from 60 years ago to the Future . A Shape-Shifter who is still the man. End of story . No question. Saw him three times in 2019 -Hardly Strictly was the 3rd. -incredible voice. The band.... I'm musician . I play with some really good peopleb it happened to be a good players with good imaginations and quite Corky and we've all been close to the so-called big time once or twice or three times . I think we get open for Robert. Ib watch Robert with the Shifters, 10 concerts... it's joyous and intelligent and an emotion and such as a journey it's it's illustrative it's a million things and aunting. covering 15 genres of music. And some Zepp. The oyher stage areas emptied . They came to the valley down to the valley below to see Robert & the ShapeShifters. Look up! Because he packed the perimeter fence too. 10 Deep , 3 City blocks around. Families , single people tech people rockers hungover people hadn't been to sleep yet (might have been me I'm not sure...) you name it, on a beautiful Sunday late afternoon to evening in San Francisco . And this is still not an easy town I mean to win and everybody's still Van Morrison very Elvis Costello to the Lourde to Lady Gaga to Classic Rock . And shiploads of various music that has no use for musicians really apparently . n it but it's a wide range and I guess but it's pretty modern as well the old stuff is always He won that whole crowd over. people this is pretty amazing all the other stage areas cleared out . It's like wow the man is here. Most common conversation I heard was " I didn't know he was still playing'. Or " Ive never heard any if this before. you know like nobody knows you know like I'm like walking around preaching the gospel you know like okay His way of course. thank you so much.

Always assumed I'd be guitarist for Robert one day lol.. after one stint with Steve Gibbons, seems delusional but musos in Birmingham circulate somehow, mutual love of creative art? sympathy? finding paying gigs. Almost dead after lockdown & DJs no pub can pay a band, hire a PA etc.. The last night of the "golden eagle" Hill Street, 1980s Robert playing for 100 as authentic as 100k at knebworth in 79 or trying Tech at fair deal music with just Gaz Morris, Wit?= Wisdom Integrity Talent! Plants a rare national treasure!

Because he can sing and she cant? Just thinking about it is making my ears bleed. Robert's wonderful voice, with little scalded cat warbling up and down trying to find the note. She has actually started to sing like a human being lately, and she is almost Okay! That was a surprise. Why she didn't try it before is a mystery to me.
