Me too, Rita, I am in SW Australia, and whilst our seasons are different, there is a lot to thoroughly enjoy about Garden Answer. I inspect my 2 acre garden daily and have always found that there is something in bloom, probably taking 10 or so photos of my plants every day . My husband does the lawns when I can drag himself away from farm duties and will help me with limb removal or heavy pot shifting. It is a very relaxed style of gardening, I do not get too fussed with weeds too much, but what a joy it is to enjoy Laura’s gardening without having to try and keep up with. Who could? I’ve just had a late breakfast so now it’s out in the garden although it is the shortest day of the year, it is not too cold.m

I have learned sooo much from watching you. I have planted a few things other years but never had the confidence to expand. I have been a tomato gardener failure for several years. I am now the brunt of my family’s jokes in that regard. I was given 6 ranunculus corms last year but only one bloomed. However, it was beautiful. When you change a garden bed such as this, I was surprised to see you could leave some of the debris (flower petals). I just wondered about disease to the next planting. As well, any time I have a spent bed it seems like it is full of spent roots which is a mass. Your soil seems light and fluffy (I am sure that is a garden term).

One year, the constant snow fall, and not being well, to shovel bang the snow off, they bent, and didn’t recoup. So, I called the arborist. The first outfit did a lousy job I found, the first snowfall. Voila, the second outfit did the trick. It’s been 3-4yrs. and are standing up like fluffy soldiers lol. Great video today and really great advice to. Lovely to see them all still with bloom. You planted some nice things today. Will look lovely the flowers you planted in with your corn. When they come up. And great encouragement to us to get out there and plant and seed. I know l still have a few seeds l have to put out in garden.

You have inspired me to do my Nasturtium seeds! I love them and also have limited success. I got several varieties to try this year and didn't get them started. I thought it was too late. Too hot. I don't get as hot as you, so if you can started them now, I can certainly try! Thanks again.

I loved seeing Benjamin planting with you. He's growing so fast. I had forgotten how fast my boys grew. A very nice reminder to go back & look at mine at this age. A wonderful memory to look at & reminisce about. ❤❤💙💙💙
