Digging 4 more sewer lines at this site, after these we will only have 2 more here. Over 2 afternoons I got the 4 lines dug and padded with rock, once they are inspected I will be back to backfill them. We usually try to get the inspection set up for the day we are digging but they were not able to come. I'll come back the next day to dig in the water lines and cover up the sewer lines. As usual it was a touch rocky but we got it. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #sewerwork

Gotta love it when you have to move everyone else's crap ( sand,dirt,stone) because they dump it anywhere they want. .. and 99 % of the time it's where you have to dig the sewer and water lines !!!!

Another fine operating production Brandon! Great camera work as usual and some nice background shots too. The 2 most important things in your bag of ""tricks" these days have to be the grading bucket and the killer LED work light on the cab of your excavator. Making the rock and dirt contractor happy, 1 day at a time. 5 stars bud! Work safe, stay warm, have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family my friend. Doug@ the "ranch"

Im doing a similar sewer job at my house are you grading in a slant for the proper pitch or are you just digging a hole and plumber uses blocks to get the pitch right then bed with rocks ?
@eliteearthworksllc
@eliteearthworksllc 4 жыл бұрын
asus12351 I try to dig with a little slope but with our rock that doesn’t always work. So yes they will block it up then we pad it with rock. Or you can dig it and spread a few inches of rock on the bottom and rake and grade it then lay the pipe.
