Gotta love it when you have to move everyone else's crap ( sand,dirt,stone) because they dump it anywhere they want. .. and 99 % of the time it's where you have to dig the sewer and water lines !!!!

Another fine operating production Brandon! Great camera work as usual and some nice background shots too. The 2 most important things in your bag of ""tricks" these days have to be the grading bucket and the killer LED work light on the cab of your excavator. Making the rock and dirt contractor happy, 1 day at a time. 5 stars bud! Work safe, stay warm, have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family my friend. Doug@ the "ranch"

I think you should have a surcharge for digging in rocky ground. I really liked the brighter color of the dirt in the first trench too.
@waltermattson55665 жыл бұрын
Do you have to use the rock to backfill or could you use sand too?
@eliteearthworksllc5 жыл бұрын
walter mattson I’m thinking about it, it’s so much harder on the teeth and the machine

walter mattson the city requires the rock. I bet we could use sand but the rock is cheaper here

Im doing a similar sewer job at my house are you grading in a slant for the proper pitch or are you just digging a hole and plumber uses blocks to get the pitch right then bed with rocks ?
@eliteearthworksllc5 жыл бұрын
asus12351 I try to dig with a little slope but with our rock that doesn’t always work. So yes they will block it up then we pad it with rock. Or you can dig it and spread a few inches of rock on the bottom and rake and grade it then lay the pipe.
