Digging water lines to 8 new construction homes. Too muddy to finish yards so we are trying to get the water lines put in these houses and will be starting on the sewer lines next week. As always thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks

I "dig" the bucket cam! (has anyone already made that joke yet? lol!) I hate it when my front porch gets mixed up with my back porch lol!! That is a "little" mistake! Thanks for the video!

Once again- very nice vid! Lovin the bucket cam also. As shallow as the water lines are- can you use a trencher or does the boulders make it easier to just use the excavator? They do make ones you can sit on if that's the issue 😂.

@eliteearthworksllc 5 жыл бұрын
Dall Tex thank you! You probably could but yes the rocks make it a pain so it’s about as easy with the excavator. Plus we usually dig the sewers at the same time. Thanks again

Those are fairly spacious lots compared to many of the homes built around here. Commonly, homes around here are built on what they call ‘zero lot lines’ meaning, the wall on one side of your house demarcates the neighbors property line. And your ‘yard’ bumps up to the neighbors wall on the other side. Just one more way to pack ‘em in I guess. 🤜🤛

It's hard to tell on KZbin how deep water lines are in your area, Ithaca New York they have to be at least 60 inches deep. Also for new construction the Title Insurance companies are now requiring certification from the land surveyor that all of the utility lines are only on the property or the town's easement, no touching neighboring properties, sometimes it's difficult to get the sign-offs considering the surveyors and their insurance companies are forever responsible for their written assurances. Thank you again for your videos.
@eliteearthworksllc
@eliteearthworksllc 5 жыл бұрын
David Null code here is 30 inches. That would be tricky to get all the companies coordinated, but it’s a good idea. I have ran into some lines that cut across the property line from the neighboring house that are not located. Makes it a real pain. Thanks again for watching and commenting David

Cookies Services yes I started it as a lawn and landscaping company when I was in high school. He got an early retirement deal from the phone company in 2002 and came on board then. I was 22 and more or less just wanted to do the work so he took over the business side. I’ve always wanted to do more excavating and dirt work. It only took about 17 years for that to happen 😂 but here I am. I keep telling her to start posting some videos, maybe one of these days! You’re welcome, thank YOU for watching! For the small excavators, why do you put the front blade down before digging? Is it due to balance?

Malachi Giordano yes it helps stabilize the machine and keeps it from sliding or being pulled when you dig. Thanks for watching

I like how you used the sign about the sale of the house for a tripod. I think if you put out a video every couple days is good. So do you estimate the top of the bucket being the height for the water line depth?
@eliteearthworksllc

Brian Gardiner lol got to use what’s available! I’m trying for every other day, if I did every day my editing would be terrible and I don’t want to do that. Yes I just use the bucket for a quick reference. The water lines need to be 30” deep at least. Thanks again for watching and commenting
