I think it would have to be rewritten in DirectX or OpenGL API to work on Windows. May take some time, but I also hope they release an overhaul for Windows! Scalable UI would be a welcome addition!

Well done. I really like that you support your old interfaces. That is one of the reason I have now two working Firefaces 802 and UCX II. I can run them simultaneously without problems. What I like also is that you support old and new operating systems.

DIGICheck NG became a necessity because of 64 Bit on macOS. DIGICheck on Windows is still compatible.

Digicheck is the best, I've replace RME with other brand since my new mobo does not have the slot for my old HDSP. I'm eyeing on used RME's digicheck compatible with better and affordable price. Hope soon will be back working with Digicheck.

@rmeaudio there is a way to change colors on the warning etc? I was using different color for warning on the meter and also different color on the analyzer, now with the ng 0.90. I can’t find a way to change colors 🤷🏻‍♂️😬

@@jackc8120 I have no idea when they will discontinue them. I do know that there is nothing out in that price point that’s does what it does. Sweetwater raised the price $100 around beginning of year, might be because of inflation. It’s a great unit I’ll be using it for many years. I don’t see how it could ne massively improved enough for me to need to replace it anytime soon.

Very cool thank you! However I just stumbled upon this by "accident". This video showed up as a recommended video in my KZbin stream which I could have very easily overlooked. Will this tell me what sample rate and bit depth audio is playing back at? I use a program called ‘informer’ for this purpose but would be so handy if the feature was included in digicheck. iTunes on PC doesn’t support streaming anything above 48khz in windows. I even installed the android app software I order to install the android Apple Music app on windows and it still was only playing back at 48khz even though it said it was playing hi res lossless. informer was the only way I found out the sample rate of what was playing. Does it also give you readouts in lufs? I use izotope informer for this purpose but would love an all in one solution. Would also be cool if it had ‘loudness penalty’ features showing how much the different streaming services are turning you down. Do you have any interfaces for Atmos that allow you to do trinnov type speaker timing adjustments?

Having trouble getting this to detect audio on my 15' MBP - the Babyface Pro is actually not supported on the website so the older and newer are? (Babyface and Babyface Pro FS are listed!)

@@RMEAudio yes I use my Babyface pro on big sur in Ableton and Reaper with no issues! Full routing working in total mix. Digi check doesn't detect any audio seemingly

@@CamiloRuizHD Babyface Pro does work with Digicheck NG. Please follow the instructions and make sure that you use the loopback function in TotalMix. Also make sure the "Microphone" is allowed in the privacy settings for Digicheck.

This video says that DigiCheck NG can be downloaded from the website, but I can't really find it. I don't see it mentioned on the homepage (www.rme-audio.de/), or on the news page (www.rme-audio.de/news.html) or on the DigiCheck page (www.rme-audio.de/digicheck.html). On the downloads page (www.rme-audio.de/downloads.html) I also can't find it. Where is it? 🙂

@@RMEAudio Ah, there are two dropdown menus there. The first one lets me select my audio interface, but when I use that I don’t get to DigiCheck NG. But apparently I should skip that first dropdown menu and use the second dropdown menu. This is quite confusing.

Dont know why but on my Macbook Air M1 2020 Logic Pro in rosetta mode, i find the old digicheck worked fine for me, this NG why ever does not work. RME Fireface UCX via USB runs super stable, just this Digicheck NG is unusable for me at the moment.
