To me, my Tamagotchi feels more like a fashion accessory than a pet. I think its maybe how the anime portrays Digimon as partners that I’m so much more attached to it. I’ve seen a little about the Tamagotchi anime but I didn’t feel the same vibe. Maybe its just me lol anyways, love your videos!! 💙

I started with Tamagotchi and immediately got into Digimon but I think I find it easier to stay interested in Digimon than Tamagotchi. I like the advancements Tamagotchi has made as a virtual pet, but I feel like the designs aren't as fun as they were in the vintage era, they used to have quite a bit of variety, while now they seem to be trying too hard to ape Sanrio. Digimon on the other hand is a lot more varied and usually has bigger rosters on each device. They keep their devices simple, but I don't really need much more than feeding, a few mini games, and a pet that grows and evolves over time anyway. I would love a "Digimon Uni", because the most modern device we have is either a fitness watch that lacks the things I value in a virtual pet, or a faithful recreation of the v1 and v2 but with color, and I think that kind of stinks. I also feel like that's probably not gonna change any time soon. I still do love Tamagotchi, but it's not quite equal to my love for Digimon. In fact I think it may be a step behind the current wave of Giga Pets. They may not have color screens, but the animations and sounds are fantastic and they keep coming out with new ones.

At this point im just surprised someone hasnt made their own fan digimon thats in colour and more functionality like in the recent tama releases considering people have made a dock to connect the dm to a computer until bandai actually does it themselves.

The pandemic reinvigorated the virtual pet fad and I was definitely one of those people who just rediscovered vpets today as an adult. I started with the Digimon 20th line and now own an unhealthy number of different versions. I did buy myself a Tamagotchi rerelease and I can see how superior the Digimon vpet has become. I also just pulled the trigger to get my first colored vpet in the Tama Uni. The new colored Digimon sadly isn't backwards compatible so I'm now spectating on Bandai's future releases. If the colored Digimons was given the backwards compatible feature, I'm certain that I would've gone with that instead of the Tama Uni.

I wish I could get my hands on the 20th rerelease. I poop problem just makes me feel bad to use it lol. The digimon x has been fun and I found my fav digimon so far on it in stifflimon. Would like to have to larger rooster on the 20th.

i fail to understand why they don't make a tamagotchi Uni like for digimon, i can only hope we can get a device like this after they are done with pendulum color, theres a limit on how many times they can remake the originals

A Digimon VPet where you can buy DiMs for it to expand the rooster would be nice. I still won't ever get my Palmon line but one step closer! I just hope if they did that they add BUILD YOUR EGG so from the DiMs you put in you can just make your own eggs. Oh also I want a DMX Color but all the eggs and version in one where the reward for clearing the Adventure modes and STAGE SP are more DMX lore backgrounds for the OG VPET backgrounds and the other PENDULUMs.

The second season of Jeeves476's Angry German Kid Series began on "Angry German Kid Gets Mauled by the Smurfs" which was posted on 30th April 2008 and ended on "Angry German Kid vs Jovi Part 2" which was posted on 1st October 2009 including the funeral of evil enemy known as Jovi in Berlin. After the Angry German Kid vs Jovi Part 2, many joined the Digimon Adventure Reboot Series and became members of the Digidestined, pledging their loyalty to Yagami Taichi.

US D3 Ver. 2 is still the best digivice we ever got and actually followed the show, versus the other digivices being so random. Story wise

Hopefully someday we'll see them both in Smash Bros... or evolving Tamagotchi Tamers in Digimon's TCG for a bit of fun! I am pretty sure Mametchi is Adult Level, is there a Tyrannomon to their Greymon? Also can't remember the name of their standard pre-evo... I just know their equivalent to Garurumon (their go to for partner mechanics) is Lovelitchi...

It does seem like Bandai have assigned their best innovators to Tamagotchi. As a Digimon fan I feel let down. The VB series feels like a cheap version of the Tamagotchi. The VB app struggles to load from screen to screen and we have nothing to do with our Digimon once they are in the app. We can send them out on missions (where you do nothing but click send and wait to get an item 12-24 hours later) and Battle. There is not enough interactive content with the VB series in comparison to what Tamagotchi has. Where Tamagotchi gets new interactive things to do with every release, Digimon gets more of the same. How many releases of the version 1 v-pets are we going to get before they decide to actually sell us an improved v-pet? Lol
