If I'm honest, the thing that rather brought this Manga down for me was the character of Neo. Apart from being an incredibly irritating and arrogant antagonist, was the fact he ultimately got off scot-free despite all the atrocities he willingly commited over the course of the story (I'm not interested in apologist excuses). I just have a beef against designated Dark Tamers who treat their partners like dirt. And to have this fact brushed under the carpet was an unsatisfying payoff for me.
