Agumon predates the anime. It was one of the 2 rookie forms in the OG Tomagachi game. BTW, that Teddybear's fire and zombie forms are the first 2 megas. They were hidden forms you could only get after it died, and even then it was a risk, as they might not revive.

I understand that punk Agumon isn't an official Digimon and was only used as a disguise in the anime, but the way I see it, it counts. ToyAgumon is among my favorite Digimon, since I actually triedbuilding Digimon out of blocks with my friends, when I was a kid. Also love the tie/tongue on fake professor. Although I don't know how to spell him. 😅 Maybe you could display the names of each Digimon briefly when you introduce them?

@@blackstar5867 The games don't always handle it as such. Under normal circumstances and depending on which Digivolution line you use, you'll get a MetalGreymon or RizeGreymon as your Ultimate/Perfect Level. I went by the anime. Tai over-feeding Agumon to force a Digivolution of Greymon into Ultimate when he wasn't ready and then in season 2 with the Digimon Emperor trying to control Agumon's Digivolution line with only a Dark Ring. He could control Greymon no problem but in an attempt to turn him into MetalGreymon, it went to SkullGreymon instead and it went berserk until exhausted.
