Digital Circus Episode 4 Was Genius

The moments where gangle started snapping were honestly brilliant. You can hear her inner porcelaine mask cracking. Meanwhile the outer plastic mask was mostly the same. She was hurt on the inside but acted fine on the outside.

This episode felt kinda like it was scarier than episode 3 and it felt... off and had an eerie vibe to it Also I remember that in episode 1 kaufmo was abstracted and episode 2 we saw a nightmare of abstracting and in episode 3 it's a flashback of kinger's wife and i thought that there will be a reference to the abstracted members

I really liked this episode, Like, Gangle is one of my favorite characters from TADC and it was really nice to see her finally being the focus of an episode. Fun fact: In the Portuguese dub, V and Gangle have the same voice actress.

I thought this episode was a pretty neat one. We got to see a bit more into Gangle’s character and understand her and the metaphor with the masks much better. She isn’t just a crybaby like everyone makes her out to be, but she is actually struggling and nobody can properly understand that except Zooble. Like you said in the video, the “sad mask” isn’t actually a “sad mask” that’s the real her and the “happy mask” is her masking her struggles and problems. Her and Jax are similar in a way. They are both masking what they are really feeling or like except Gangle’s masking is really easily broken through as it gets broken every episode (usually by Jax being mean to her and being the one to break her mask). Zooble was also sweet in this episode they were helping comfort Gangle and you can even see them be concerned for Gangle even when she was having her manic episode. At the beginning Zooble gave gangle a new mask trying to help Gangle feel better which didn’t help but made things worse. But even after seeing that it didn’t work Zooble didn’t just get annoyed at Gangle or mad or give up on her or anything but they instead chose to try to talk to Gangle to make her feel better rather than find a way help her to pretend to be better. We also got to see more into Jax’s character. I’ve always hypothesized that Jax could actually be kind of a caring person but acts like an 🫏hole kinda like a mask. This episode helped prove my point because when he got beaten down and tired he was actually not mean to Pomni and actually just checked up on her instead. And also when he was watching the training video and he was being forced to watch against his will his first reaction was “nobody is seeing this right?” Cause he’s insecure not sure exactly what but it’s obvious since episode one like almost every single person who is just an 🫏hole has something going on. Episode 2’s ending helps prove that aswell. I’d like for there to be an episode all about Jax in the future because it could be interesting to learn more about his character. Anyways, my thoughts aren’t super organized so neither is this yapping session but thank you for reading if you did 😭

2:54 gummigoo probably has just barely got a memory of pomni in the back of his mind because when she says his name something visibly changes in his facial expression for a few seconds, as if he’s suddenly remembering something but can’t quite grasp it still barely anything but it’s close

And just now glitch posted a picture of gangle’s notebook, which was a drawing of her with Pomni and Zooble which seems to be the aftermath from the episode so I think she’s doing better and the very least likely to abstract

@@higbeeproductions2340 definitely not the least likely. The least likely is kinger, no doubt about it. He can’t even remember enough to abstract. She hangs around with pomni and zooble sure, but her underlying fears are still there, and she almost abstracted in the episode, so I dunno.

I liked the pinksauce reference and seeing Pomni react to a default gumi guy along with the training video part but the rest of the episode just felt like a waste of time. Also... THAT'S WHAT THE POINT OF THE MASK IS!!!!!!!

I thought this episode was pretty good. This is also happens to be my second favorite so far. I also hope that Gummigoo come back in the later episodes (Mainly one of the last 3).

I felt this ep was pretty gd, but it’s not my fav. I know it’s meant to be more real and chill and it’s pretty intensified by the lack of music. My only gripe is that I wanted her happy moment to last longer 😭. Or have her go berserk, like I want an impactful story for her but her story just felt… real lol. Thats my opinion :)

Okay, im probably one of the small group of people who finds this episode mid and most likely i will get smite by everyone in here bc of it I think this episode was looking to be a pretty decent one at the begining. But later down the road, it just got boring (at least for me) in the middle part where not much was going on. They were just dragging the plot with the characters working in the fast food chain restaurant and followed it up with some (imo) unfunny comedy. I can at least appreciate some gangle and zooble development but ehhh.... Still this episode isnt really that good for my taste. Not my cup of tea the least. Also is it just me or the music in this episode is literally non-existent. Like almost 80% of the time there was no music playing or if there was one, it was just very quiet

The music part is genius to me. It was like Gangle holding in her emotions. And in the end when there's music, she finally shows her true emotions and becomes free. (Truck-kun sadly reincarnated her) But yep I do agree with you. Ep 2 and 3 is banger to me.
