Did you know you can make any page a template, and then set any section to use any selected template for each new page? So you could make your daily log page a template and then set each new page opened in the daily log to have that template so you don’t have to copy and paste it so many times!

Amazing options for those that don’t want the extra clutter or that are limited to space. Thank you very much for showing us your portfolio. It made me see other options that are easier to maintain for a long time.

This is what I need!! I use OneNote but I didn’t think about using it for my planner/organizer for homeschooling. Thank you!!!! I’m setting mine up tomorrow!!

This is one of my favourite videos of yours! I am using this as an example for when I homeschool my 6 year old this year. But I am using notebooks. I like writing stuff out better :) Love you mama!!

Great tutorial. I am looking into digital record keeping. Have you ever considered sharing your templates in your store? Thanks.

Thank you! Thank you! I didn’t know One Note was capable of all of this! We just finished our first year of homeschooling and I am going to scan in all of our records that we need to keep.

You are a blessing. I am starting homeschooling this year and I love how organized you are! I am the exact way but this really helps me with reducing the paper and keeping all their info within arms reach! Thank you for sharing💕

What a great video! Thank you. Does OneNote come with those templates or did you have to create each one for your homeschool?

Love this idea! I am trying to figure out how we are record keeping. We have to produce work samples each month for each subject. I've started a folder for papers, but I'm going to see if I can do things digitally.

this is absolutely brilliant! It's exactly what I am wanting to setup for my soon to be kinder... question: how do you determine your goals? Can you link a sample notebook? I can't figure out how to do the attendance log and yours is so beautiful I want to copy it exactly!! Thank you!

How do you establish your goals for the year? Is it based of off your states standards or do you make up your own ?
@TheWaldockWay4 жыл бұрын
I use the book Home Learning Year by Year. I will be back in July to do a olan a goals with me!

I know you have only records for Emily but have you thought thru (or have others asked about) how you might go about using the digital portfolio idea for multiple children? Books, shows, games etc would likely be in common but curriculum and goals might not. Just wondering if you have thoughts on how that might be set up.

Great Video, thank you. I always struggled to know how to lay it out on One note, but this is perfect! Having not really used Good Reads before, how do you scan your books to it and then export it?
@TheWaldockWay2 жыл бұрын
You use your phone camera and the books barcode within the Goodread app.
@tamimcgraw87352 жыл бұрын
This is great, thank you! Is there a way to export the entire notebook as a pdf? I can only seem to figure out how to do a page and then it's over 200 pages because it's so zoomed in for some reason.

I live in FL and this is a helpful guide, thank you. We are try to homeschool but my district will not accept my letter of intent without a Birth Certificate.

I did not turn in a birth certificate. You might want to check more into the laws.

Hi! I'm a new homeschooling, single mom to two (9th, 2nd grades), and I work more than full time. Trying to figure out a way to organize, keep records, and lesson plan has been so stressful! Not to mention trying to figure out curriculum, but I digress. This was so helpful. From a record keeping/goals perspective this is great. What do you use to lesson plan and everything that goes with that?
@amiwilson51304 жыл бұрын
FL has a 3rd option which is fill under an umbrella school and then there no testing or portfolio. I'm sure you know that but for anyone reading the comments.

Thank you! My state (Alabama) requires NOTHING from homeschoolers, but I want to do this anyway. :-)

In my state of MS ( hey neighbor!) we don't have much either except letting the school district know that your homeschooling ( sign up pretty much like registration for public school) I was quite shocked in finding that MS doesn't need required documentation (they just suggest you keep a portfolio but it's not mandatory! It's interesting how different states go about homeschooling! This video is so helpful too!! Definitely going to try this!!!

Hi Jessica! This is awesome! You've inspired me to try something similar. I have a question about Goodreads. I love the idea of using it for homeschooling, I never thought to use it that way. I have an account for myself, but not my DD. Is there a way to add your child under your account? Or did you just set up a separate account for Emily?
@TheWaldockWay4 жыл бұрын
She just uses my account, I just have multiple shelves in the account.

Thanks for sharing:) Does this app allow you to upload videos, too? Also, is there a limit of space per month like the free version of Evernote or is it unlimited? Thank you for taking the time to respond back. I truly appreciate it:)

Yes I can load videos as well. I don't think there is limited space.

@@TheWaldockWay thank you for taking the time to respond back:) I noticed that the app on my phone uploads the photos but I can't actually see the photo unless I click on the actual file. Is that the case for you on the phone, too? I noticed your photos on your KZbin video but you were using your laptop.
