Funfact: The lyrics of this song are based on a fanfic i made up from my childhood that i never wrote: Digimon First Contact: The Digital Knight The story is, the MC (which was me lol) falls into the digital world. Humans never had contact with this world at all and neither do digimon ever had contact with a human. Protag meets and befriends a Monodramon, learns about a prophecy about "a digital knight who appears to unite the digital world and bring the dawn to a night that falls upon the digital world" from it, which unsurprisingly happens shortly before the human fell in and monodramon is convinced it is the protag. Protags basically gets to embody all the traits of the armor eggs and gets to partner up with a digimon for each, basically creating a village(later a kingdom) like in some digimon world games. Protag also uses gear he gets crafted by a zudomon like a cool digizoid sword and armor to fight alongside their partners because he "can't just stand by and watch when his friends are in danger."

@@RayAkuma that's really cool! Something I've always loved about Digimon is that the world building was always very open ended, so us fans can imagine our own scenarios, making everything fit together as we like, while also respecting the original idea of the Digital World.
