Quick question if you are still responding to these old videos. I have a tv digital and am tring to connect to a analog. I know i have the right stuff but i must be doing something wrong because when i plug the tv to the d2A converter all you hear is interference on the other end. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced

@SimpleCafeSound i was able to figure it out. it turns out that you need to set the sound settings to pcm. Dolby digital is not supported, at least with my setup. But as long as all tv settings are set to pcm it should work(mine had 2) . Thanks for the reply

I have a tv that only has rca and coaxial ports and have a sound bar with only optical and usb port. I got a monster analog to digital converter with rca and coaxial ports but I still can’t hear sound. Do I need to get the coaxial wire to plug it in to the converter and run it to the tv? Any help is appreciated

I've tried using the optimal cable out to the digital to analog Box. out with an RCA Cable to my JBL speaker. Sounds great works fine. I switch the smart TV to Netflix app and I lose my sound. Driving me nuts please help. Your videos are very good but I still can't figure it out. Thank you

I would like to connect my TV (HDMI ARC) and my Computer (3.5mm headphone/mic) to the same speakers (RCA unbalanced or TRS balanced) with a switch to select which source to use. Is this possible?

I have 2 MK ll JBL series 3 powered monitor speakers. Is there a DAC that I can use to hook to a Newer Sony OLED TV. I don’t wanna invest in a Soundbar !
@greg61622 жыл бұрын
I’m look for one of those HDMI DAC I’ve seen online. Waiting for my Bose soundbar to be shipped (warranty replacement I bought refurbished on eBay and Bose is still covering it) and my sound is terrible on my Vizio V-Series 4K TV… worst factory speakers ever! I just want to hookup my $20 Logitech Z200 CPU speakers I bought like 5-7yrs ago like 2016 or something. Would like something that would allow for volume adjustment. *If I used the HDMI DAC would I be able to use my remote if turn on the CEC option on my TV?* Or is it not worth the time just get a cheap one? I don’t want the volume to be bad because amplifier is low quality or just doesn’t work. I’d like to stay around $20-$25 depending on what I’m getting. HDMI DAC will be at least $40 I’m guessing… I’d pay that or more if it had a Bluetooth connection that allowed me to connect and use my AirPod’s also. Any idea’s? It’s tough to find unbiased advice… damn affiliate links. Everyone’s a used car salesman these days?!

Yea that's a sad limitation of Optical. I'll make a video if i ever find a solution.

oh no, I am looking for same thing. There is no way to control volume? My headphones sounds too louder with this convertor. I can't wear them at this volume, so what's the point?

Does anyone know of a quality brand DAC that’s not direct from Chinese warehouses? Like I want a brand I can trust not some duwangchinlee named POS that’s gonna break quickly or just not do what they say it does? I’d like to stay away from FBA’s and maybe eBay unless it’s legit

Don’t use this digital to analog converter. The analog audio output is so weak that people have to turn the volume so high on their receiver.
