Thanks for going a friendly pace and being so clear! Sometimes I struggle with even basic things because of other channels' delivery, but I did this so quickly!

I am more intrigued by the newer terminology than the tutorial itself, thank you very much for the wealth of knowledge.

Hi, thanks for the great tuto. I was wondering if you could help me with something. When i select the face of the step (in the 2nd type of stairs), i cant attach it to the second "guide" , all of the edges turn into an orange color and instead of moving just the face of the step, the whole object moves to the second "guide". Do you know why this happens? and thanks again.

Amazing job :D but as someone who loves Maya but decided to move to 3ds Max instead, I find it strange that they didn't add pre-designed stairs to the list of objects you can create (also I wish they brought all the good things from Max to it, such as modifiers, superior smart extrude and boolean operations, among some other neat things... I vastly prefer Maya and its interface but the lack of those things made me want to experiment with 3ds..)

how do you bevel those side faces?
@DigitalDreambox2 жыл бұрын
Hi you should still be able to bevel by selecting the face or edge and clicking Bevel. For the stringer staircase you will need to separate the mesh first.
@nishantdawadi7222 жыл бұрын
@@DigitalDreambox yes, i am having some issues with beveling and going to smooth mode (3)
@DigitalDreambox2 жыл бұрын
@@nishantdawadi722 I see. I recommend just giving it the bevel divisions it needs but If you are looking to smooth out the staircase you will need to retopologize it into quads.

@@DigitalDreambox thankyou, that worked like a charm 😁
