I'm surprised at the lack of sound absorption on the walls. I bet a kick drum sound will ping like a pig in there! My studio was like that, so I put up a very thick curtain on the back wall, it massively cut down reflection. I've added more soundproofing since. A dry metronome tick is a good test for reflections.

+john strong These videos are about each individual's creative process and how different producers come up with tracks. Most of the times mistakes turn into to hits! Maybe you can submit a video to show us all what a bassline and percussion elements should sound like. Don't mean to sound so blunt but your comment sounds a bit snobbish! Most of us here enjoy these videos to pick up some ideas or learn something new.

+Sid East I think the the video was very informative in terms of sound design and giving new creative ideas on how to create sounds by routing tracks into different channels for example. Tbh Roller is not my favorite track either but I think FM Magazine is doing a great Job as they are showing different producers from different genres with different techniques. Just keeping it real ! lol

Sorry, but I've done that kind of music when i was 10 years old and had no idea what i'm just doing. The main sound is really annoying - why just people like that? It sound cheap, cheesy and scratchy. Please give them some talent and some ears.
