Wow! I want to extend a colossal THANK YOU to anyone and everyone who engaged with, liked, and shared this little gem. It is funny because the story is absurd. A person does not hand over their entire future to someone they would never connect with in normal circumstances. She was drunk, depressed and feelings of low-self worth. Should anyone suffer the consequences of a bad decision that would impact two peoples lives forever (3 if you count the baby who has no chance for a wonderful life)? Comedy is always based on tragedy and however you look at this comical video, it is filled with tragedy with what has happened, what was happening and the potential of what could happen. It is so close to tragic reality that it can only be funny. Case in point; consider why there are so many jokes about marriage for example. The best way to cope with an unhappy situation is to laugh about it

Great video and acting! The interesting part is where she asks what he does for a living. It's clear that she's just as big of an immature baby as he is by jumping into bed without knowing what a loser Mark is. They're both too irresponsible to drink. So the baby will be left holding the bag and trying his best to make up where his parents left off. But with what education? Neither of the parents is exceptionally bright. There goes the neighborhood. The film was funny in a tongue-in-cheek reality check. I just hope it brings common sense to a few who watch it. That would be awesome!!

Thanks. This is the only sensible explanation for why this doesn't seem funny. I'm only starting to understand how scary it seems for a man to take responsibility for raising a baby. If I'm generous, it's because guys know it's a big deal and they feel they aren't up to it, so humor and idiocy is one way to handle the situation. It's telling that the first time the baby appears in his brain it says "I'm going to burn your house down"-- he knows his whole life is over if he accepts this reality, so act stupid, make a joke and RUUUUUUUUUUUUN! I can see why that is funny to a guy and not to a woman.
@Soulbloom14 жыл бұрын
In which case there needs to be another telling of this story where the guy reacts with no sense of concern or worry, nor excitement or love. What would it be like if he said "Okay, let's do this. I'll rearrange my life and we can do some collaborating until it fits for you, too. Here's my card, call me. I'm in." She'd be f'ing stunned. That would make me laugh and laugh. I read some of the comments, politically correct and all. I thought the film was excellent with Miss Vincent being an absolute standout. She did the heavy work and rode the emotional rollercoaster like a jockey. The scene was set up like an Off Broadway type play. You're tempted to say that, but for the mostly unseen waitress, they were the only two people in the film. That is a sure sign of a well told story. When you are talented enough as a filmmaker to leave the viewer thinking that all those other actors don't count because they were simply imagination figments in the minds of the two leads .... well, then you've really made a good film. I thought you were gonna go dark at the end and have Taso shoot or hang himself in the bathroom or something. LOL. Great job, man. Ya got a new subscriber

Meggi, come on - they both fucked up equally, no? Is the woman more responsible? I mean that'd be a good policy for every individual to take: - chosing a mate (possibly a temporary one) more wisely. Being more careful about conceiving. But at this point, where they both know she's pregnant. He's childish and stupid. And she's trying to figure out how to take care of it. He's certainly not taking the responsibility for the child. So: 50% of the blame for conceiving the child, agreed. And, I would suggest 100% of the responsibility caring for the child for each of them. Make sure they have clean, warm, dry / cool, safe place to live.Healthful food, clean water. And that you're present with them. Nice community to be a part of. Education (which could, itself, include many varied possibilities). He's going for zero. I think this could also be viewed indirectly as a criticism of our society and how much money we need to pay for housing, food, and education. We could do it many fold better with a tiny fraction of what we actually spend, if we had any creativity. And weren't focused on just selling people shit. Check out permaculture. Approving my point - is very awkward at best. I think you meant proving my point, i.e. showing it to be true.

how can they both have fucked equally, the guy did make a run. the girl is now a single mother having to raise the child alone with all burdens. clearly she is the big looser here. she doesnt know his full name nor where he lives she cannot even press child money from him. there is a behaviour where 50/50 of both gender are responsible for outcome, but the women is finally the looser. it would be the other way around if they were married and the women leaves the dude. than the guy is the big looser. but the biggest looser anyways is the yet to be born child. "He's childish and stupid. And she's trying to figure out how to take care of it. He's certainly not taking the responsibility for the child. " -> thats exactly my point. The movie shows a stupid not responsible man while she seems to handle it correct. all blame to the man. typical men shaming. nothing else. btw her first question is, how much money do you earn. says much about her idea of how the man has to take responsibility. why didnt she ask who will raise the child? what if he said "i take the baby after birth and raise it, but you do monthly payments to support it" Check the comments here what girls are writing. they only see the badass male. They dont see that the female fucked up too. The message of this video, to take responsibility for own action to prevent this matter is not caught up by girls at all. its just the badass male. and thats where this movie fails.. it didnt deliver the message.

Really great short - excellent editing, a compelling blend of comedy and drama. Taso plays a great douchebag, and Katie is a seriously good actress!

Very good depiction of female vulnerability. Seven minutes could cost a lifetime! Females mostly end up at wrong end of the stick. A very important theme and excellent screenplay, characterization and acting ❤

What was she doing, getting 'revenge' for the other guy's break-up, just effing the first p-nis she could find??? Without being on contraception... She CHOSE the wrong end of the stick. Better stay away from such sticks, when you're not ready for it. She's offering him some 'fun' and then he gets to pay a bill of 400,000 dollars worth raising it (pun not intended, but somehow fits).
