Ha, I adjusted standard to look just like Cinema. Unable to turn off all the auto motion crap so I matched cinema with standard. Filmaker mode is too dark, Vivid mode juices the image too much, but if you want bright highlights to the extreme? Set the color that of Cinema and you would get a decent picture.
@curtisbmeАй бұрын
I find that Standard seems to usually give the most realistic looking colors (when something is a natural scene and not movie color graded where you don't know what they were going for) and most impactful HDR but it can overdo the HDR highlights sometimes. On a lot of content Filmmaker seems to give everything a brown hue and is often way too dim on a lot of content. High noon looks like dusk with the reduced brightness and more brown hue when compared to standard. Watching Queer Eye in Vegas makes it feel like you are looking through a window and you can feel the vegas heat in Standard but in filmmaker, again, makes everything more muted and dusk-ish. All frustrating to have all the settings options, especially as you can't even access them until you are playing the right type of content. Should just have two settings. A default "calibrated" mode and a custom mode (for someone who wants to tweak things for some reason) with very easy way to raise APL for bright room viewing. And Vivid is just stupid, even on the showroom floor that mode would look like crap.

Standard has some of the worst colours though. It represents the windows XP background of life, something the is over saturated.
