Top tip when editing I put names and choosing an icon for the inputs… Change the input icon FIRST, then edit the name. If you edit the name and then choose an input icon, it will revert the input name back to default, meaning you’ll have to type it out all over again.

thank you for the insight, I customized my G4 as per your instructions.

Renaming the inputs also has another purpose for choosing the icons. If you select the PC icon with a computer attached to the TV (which I do for my LG C2 OLED), it sets the TV to PC mode. You will totally notice the difference in quality and the text on the screen is clear to read, not pixelated.

I don't know if it's true on the newer models but at least it used to be that the icon you choose for the input actually affects some of the options available. Like selecting the PC icon disables a lot of options like frame interpolation

I have owned quite a few LG TV's over the past few years , I currently own 4 LG oled's from 55 inch to the new 77INCH G4 , I have noticed the G4 does NOT have the "fireworks' screensaver when you put the tv on pause ! I don't often pause the G4 due to screen burn which is NOT covered under warranty - why has LG taken the screensaver away ??

LG have removed the fireworks screensaver from all their OLEDs and instead, they’ve replaced it with a screensaver bloated with ads that kicks in after thirty minutes.

I just got a 48" B4 ...'beautiful picture, but I hate the TV already. ALL I want is KZbinTV... and I shudda k'nowd: when I saw those other source's buttons on the bottom of the hand set that someone at UTTV musta made a pass at the head of LG's wife or failed to buy their way onto the handset. Dumb old rabbit-eared antenna, tube-type TVs turned on/off to the station you were last watching. Maybe someone can suggest another brand where I can simply 'watch it without getting a degree in Handset Programming. Hotshot, your instructions are pretty clear - I need to go home and see if ant will help me thin the option herd. Cheers. Jim

Have you noticed how terrible the Motion Processing is? On or off it is still processing to some degree. People stutter across the screen as the camera pans left or right. Makes me dizzy to some degree. Adding more De-judder just makes the soap opera effect. I can't believe they sell something this awful and call it the top tv out there. I'm coming from a 65" Plasma @ 600hz that was nearly perfect in every way. I think we took a step backwards in technology.
