Hey Gino, great sounds and playing! Did you probably live record these notes from your keyboard into the digitone and does it record it as played or did you experience any cut off notes, when playing pads like this?

Thank you sounds great good demo! Are their any issues with sticky buttons?
@ginocoАй бұрын
Your welcome! I’ve never had any issues with sticky buttons on Elektron devices. I think a lot depends on the temperature and humidity of where you use it. Since I have mine in a home studio most of the time, I’ve had no issues (even on my OG Digitakt which I’ve had since 2017)

Holy shit, we need that pad preset!
@ginocoАй бұрын
Thanks :) I added it to the video description, but I wish it was easier to share. Since I use a combination of 2 tracks + FX. We don't yet have support from Elektron to share Kits (which would solve it).

Great video. Is the FUNC key label already wearing off ? 😮
@ginoco3 ай бұрын
Thanks! The button is good, it’s just my camera playing tricks. It’s weird because if you zoom in on it in the video it does look like it’s wearing off, good catch! It’s absolutely fine though in person.

Sounds awesome, although I’m not hearing the stereo spread in this video, even with headphones in it’s all right in front of me. Like the video audio was summed to mono
@cvio_3 ай бұрын
correct. its in mono and still sounds great. hope he fix it

Yeah I noticed the same thing after I posted the video. Thanks for pointing it out, and I'll check into it

Lacks brilliance immo. Was this recorded through the room mic?
@ginoco3 ай бұрын
No it was direct in. I did roll off the highs with a filter it as it was too bright IMO, and also discovered that I accidentally recorded the video in mono :)

Dang, you should really share that patch! ❤

Good idea, I’ll add it to the description

@@ginocoit's not there. :( I subscribed!
@ginocoАй бұрын
Sorry, I should have added an update sooner. There's not currently a way to share kits, and this "preset" uses 2 layers. I was going to add it as 2 separate presets, but that got complicated as I'd also need to give instructions on how to link them. So the best thing at this point is to just share a written recipe on how to recreate it. It's actually a basic patch to build. I'll add the recipe to the video description soon.

Wow can't read anything on that screen from way up here.

Yeah, the screen is pretty small. Just felt weird not seeing the keyboard when I was playing. Next time I’ll make it bigger :)

all the videos of this thing sound very plastic, I just don't vibe with the sound, happy to stick with my analog boards instead, best of luck
