I'm 66 and a farmer in Nebraska. It's incredible the widespread and enduring appeal of this song. Even out here where I live. You can hear farmers playing it out of their tractor cabs, and coming out of pickup windows. Here in the friggin' Midwest, of all places! And it's popular among all age groups and backgrounds. Even my 80 year old uncle loves it! Very, VERY few popular songs have ever managed to do that. It attests to the talent of these guys.
