That's exactly what that is.....this is an older style of the MSgt rank.....was last used in the late 80's or early 90s before the newer design became effective.

At 2:45 the military medal isn't a medal. It's an airforce rank insignia. Not sure which one. Master Sargeant maybe.

Man the history behind what you can dig up is super cool. Like that driveway...it gets built and then for decades stuff falls out of people's pockets getting in and out of vehicles, every one making a time capsule.

I remember the Susan B. Coins. They weren’t in circulation very long at all. People would mistake them by not looking closely believing they were a quarter and they weren’t really used. Enjoyed watching , a few nice finds 👌👍

funny story about the Susan B Anthony I found last year while detecting a park in my area this lady started asking me questions about metal detecting and what all I had found over the years and I told her about some of my finds and stuff that was on my bucket list. I mentioned the anthony dollar and after she walked away, literally 5 minutes later I got one from 1979 which just happens to be my birth year. also contact me and I'll buy one of your pouches.
