INSANE EPIC Day of Metal Detecting at Virgin Honey Hole! 19 SILVERS & GOLD!

John, Mike, Gary and Philip. I'm 66 and I use to love going Metal Detecting. I found several coins in the past. My Oldest Coin was a 1847 Large Cent. I even found a 1914-D Wheatie and a very nice 1921- D Mercury head dime.

One of your best videos! Very enjoyable. Today I was detecting an old park, dug up an old silver dime. Saw the back side first and thought Barber! Flipped it over and it was SEATED! 1891 seated liberty dime, with lots of detail. Thanks for inspiring me with your videos. Peace!

@@digthatbeep awesome! How long have you guys been doing this? Yaw pretty on point. Would you be interested in me emailing you guys pictures? I have only been metal detecting for about a year. I got blessed on my first day with a private permission that has never been touched. I have verly scratched the surface of this place. Two bottles dumps found under ground 10 feet from each other. One 1870-1910's and second one 1930's-1990's. About forty bottles in total. Sadly had to move them from the spot I was keeping them. Some of the oldest bottles sadly got busted including the 1870 Hinds Honey Apple Cream. Oh well but can't lie it broke my heart!

Great job on the silver. In October I found a 1942/1 double stamped Mercury dime metal detecting in Georgia. Had it graded with PCGS and it was Genuine but I messed up by cleaning it. They said I hurt the value by a $100. It is till valued between $450 to $550 so I’m still happy. My best find metal detecting.

Old sports fields are the best. Have hunted five different ones in my area and don't have a clue how many silver coins and rings I've found including One gold ring. In one day my hunting partner and I found over $50 in quarters. You all will have many good hunts there I'm sure. Tell Phillip to dig those mid 80s and low 90 s on the Xterra for sure. I use an Xterra as well and it's a very capable machine it will hang with the equinox no problem. Also the eq 15 " coil on it will Surprise you at the depth it will get . 10-12 in coins all day and it will still pull small gold rings with that huge coil. 10khz Park one in all tones seems to be the mode I like best although 5khz is really good except on the lower tones.

Great dig! That site likely hosted many carnivals and ice cream socials back in the day. The moist soil makes those targets pop so much better, most people just won't do it because of how messy they are.

Your mystery item is a 4 leaf clover pendent with 1 leaf bent over. Common find near carnival sites. I’ve found 4 or 5. Some have names engraved.

I found 4 silvers in a field in a day and went over it several more times and did not find anything. Then I changed from multi frequency to 5 hertz and bingo more silver. So when you think you got it all change the settings and go over it one more time.
