Dilapidated-Run Down 1998 Schindler 321A Hydraulic Elevator @ Extended Stay America, Schaumburg, IL

Hold the phone! 5:29 what the! Okay!, this must be the must weirdest 321a elevator I’ve ever seen on KZbin! Start off with the chimes, the chimes were used to be low-pitched then upgraded to standard high pitched chimes! But now the high pitched chimes sounds like it’s dying! 2nd of all! The floor indicator doesn’t even work along with the floor passing chime being extremely quiet! 3rd of all! Call stations! The call stations are placed incorrectly! The 2nd floor has a the call stations upside down that can throw us off! Especially the elevator is pointing incorrectly! Then the 3rd floor has a HT premium fixture that should’ve been a regular call station but also positioned for up & down that can also throw us off thinking there’s a fourth floor! & 321As DON’T use standard HT Premium fixtures! Then the certificate! This was just inspected & yet the elevator isn’t in good condition! The elevator needs some attention & especially fix the call stations! Last but not least, the motor! The motor sounds like a 330a motor that we can barely hear because most 321As are holeless hydros w/double the jacks! But it looks to be this one is in-ground hydraulic! That is one weird/messed up 321a elevator I’ve ever seen!

@@EC_3276 This Elevator probably used to have the Low-Pitched Chimes, but no one knows. (At least from videos.) The Call Station on “3” used to have the same Call Station’s on “1” and “2.” (Via only Down Arrow-Black Panel with Schindler Logo on bottom of Call Station.) The 3rd Floor one was definitely a Replacement though. But yes, the Call Stations on “2” and “3” are really confusing/throwing people off.
