Adagio is a musical direction to play a piece in slow time, which is exactly how he is playing the piano introduction to the song. By the way Dimash's name Kudaibergen means Gift from God in Kazakh and he truly is just that, his goal in life is to promote world peace and love through his music. All the songs he sings have deep meaning, he wrote War and Peace to highlight his passion to bring nations together with love and peace. If you check out all the people that attended his concerts the nationalities number over 100 and all mix happily together, singing, dancing and enjoying the company of these strangers who became friends there. 4 Years ago I was affected much the same that you were in viewing this the first time; I have watched it so many times, but i still get emotional each and every time; no other singer I have ever seen moves me the way DIMASH can do. This was sung by Lara Fabian when Dimash was quite young. He still thinks she is the cats meow though she is now in her 50's. She has written the words to songs for him. His great talent coupled with his absolute resolve to be the greatest singer in the world, and do not forget his hours of vocal training and rehearsal from the age of 5. You do not see young people with this resolve in the US.

Adagio is an Italian word that is often used as a directive in sheet music meaning to play or sing slowly. It could be interpreted to mean to proceed slowly or move slowly which is more in line with the lyrics of this song.

I have caught glimpses of him in the background in a couple of more recent videosl I read somewhere that he and Dimash are good friends as well. By the way. Are you familiar with Gloria Wu's channel? Adagio is an Italian term used in music to mostly reference a slower tempo. Most classical works (symphonies, sonatas, etc.) will have a movement titled “adagio”. When Lara Fabian composed the lyrics to this pre-existing melody (often attributed to Albinoni, but not likely), she took creative license to reimagine Adagio as a lover’s name. Dimash’s interpretation is heavily influenced by Lara Fabian. There is a lovely trio where Dimash performs with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifiulina singing Ti Amo Cosi - gorgeous!

Dimash plays piano keyboard piano guitar drums ukulele chello dombra (Kazakh traditional instrument) and a few other Kazakh traditional instruments I can't remember off the top of my head. He also sings in twelve different languages but speak Kazakh, Russian, English, and is studying mandarin chinese. He just or is about to start his studies for his doctorate degree in musicology and then he'll be Dr. Dimash lol..
