This duet is called “Become a Poet” with Gong Linna. This song was written for people with rare diseases and was awarded as the Best Song of the Year. It is dedicated to the Chinese girl Jenny Bao, who could only move one finger when she was born. Doctors only gave her a life expectancy of 4 years. She is now 20 years old and, among other things, writes poems using only the fingers that she was now able to move. Jenny Bao speaks the last spoken part of the song herself with the help of a kind of speech computer. I hope I told everything correctly. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

The poem was written by a young woman who is totally paralyzed, is on a ventilator and has only one thumb that is mobile. She uses it to type poetry. Gong Linna took this poem and turned it into this song. Dimash and Gong Linna sang this duet for the "Our Song 6" tv show episode "Singing with Legends" in China just a few months ago. This duet won the Golden Song Award. He sang two duets on this episode and one solo song, "Give Me Your Love" on a previous episode. You should watch the other duet with Huang Xiaoyun, Red Moon Rules. Gorgeous.

Gong Linna is a famous Chinese singer, and in this song the theme is a young quadriplegic Chinese woman who only moved one finger and wrote poems with that finger (Jenny Bao who was born with rare disease spinal atrophy)! I LOVE this duet! Linna had never rapped before, but since Dimash can’t rap in Mandarin, Linna had to do that part. She was very nervous, but she did an excellent job!! Yay, Linna! 👍 Dimash hits some pure tones in this song I’ve never heard before, and I melt when I hear them. I cry at the end because the story is so sad. Linna has tears, and Dimash lends his strength and support with a hug. 😢 ❤🎉❤

@@RapItUp41 Her story is an example of indomitable human spirit - she depends on people and machines to survive. She is paralyzed and can move only one finger. She wonders how she can contribute, what she can do…she can type. For creativity, she can “become a poet.” And so she does. She has sold her poetry , and she has landed a job!
