This is Hello by Lionel Richie but he was not as glad as you were about the Dimash rendition of his song. He didn’t understand Dimash made Hello his own because he is a genuine artist that puts his seal on any song he performs even covers. The music arrangement is beautiful!!! The flute called Sybyzgy - made of reeds or wood 50-70 cm with 3-5 holes, is particularly common in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The instrument was popular with shepherds, although difficult to play, and was also used by storytellers, in this case perfect for Dimash who is a master of storytelling …. ❤️🔝🎤🌹🌹👏👏👏👏👏

Lionel Richie should have been able to recognize the authentic passion of Dimash inspired by his lyrics. But people can get intimidated by Dimash's vocal virtuosity.

I imagine, as a Greek Cypriot, you might didn't want to associate Turkish melodies. (if there were at all) * I don't follow you for the "Show Must Go On", for this is one of the songs, I don't like from him. He does everything right, it still does not give any rock vibes. The arrangement is a complete failure to my ears,as well. As they say, only those who are working, making mistakes..... Yes, I can be totally wrong. It wouldn't be the first time, nor the last. It reminds me of Angelina Jordan. She covers everything, technically from the Moon, brave, creative, virtuose... but the whole song does not have one concept, nor message. Chaotic.

It is understandable as a human to have different opinions as we all develop differently so no worries :) and i grew up after Cyprus was cut in half and so didn't get to experience Turkish melodies but to be honest even before the amount of Turkish Cypriots was much less so I am not sure if i would get the opportunity even back then(probably more than now)
