Do you really know why Dimash is not that well known in America? To begin with I agree with everything else you said. The problem is that he will not sign with a big recording company and so his music will not be played on American radio stations. The only way we can beat them is by people like you letting everyone else know that Dimash is the greatest singer ever! The way things have always been done in this country are ending and now us the people are speaking, We want to hear Dimash!

I think it’s also because he doesn’t do music that would get as popular here. Even when he’s done R&B and even rapped in a couple songs, I feel like those songs would be considered “cheesy” by some American audiences. Regardless of his immense talent, there’s definitely taste that people have for certain genres and song structures, and I think it keeps Dimash from -mainstream popularity- in the US. But honestly, he could get popular in most other places I think, and he can reach a significant “niche” audience anywhere (people who follow reaction channels or people into “world music”) so it hardly affects him negatively.

👉 The flute called Sybyzgy - made of reeds or wood 50-70 cm with 3-7 holes, which is particularly common in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The instrument was particularly popular with shepherds and was used by storytellers. They went across the country and told stories and legends in chants and with music (Kui). There are many legends and traditions associated with sybyzgy. In these legends the instrument is called a "living reed", because this strong, hollow stem, makes amazingly deep sounds. He was 24 in this video. He is now 28. Somehow he has gotten better. 😄 He has been in music school since he was 5 yrs old. He still practices every day, he even swims to help his breath control. Don't ever remember anyone else singing this Lionel Richie hit before Dimash. Dimash took it to the highest level. I heard Lionel's son was there when Dimash performed it in 2018. After that, wasn't be allowed to sing it again. " Too good". "Too perfect". Much better than the original. Love your reactions to Dimash. Greetings from North Carolina. Daybreak and Autumn Strong are 2 true stories from the 2017 "I Am Singer" competition in China. (Back stories can be found on the Gloria Wu channel). Both are beautiful. Then Ikinaide sang in Japanese in 2021 as a tribute to the Japanese people. Same music as Autumn Strong different meaning. The Chinese version borrowed the music from the Japanese. You will understand when you see the back story of Autumn Strong.

1. Do,ash is Muslim and does not like to be called a god. He considers his god to be allah. 2. Because he is Muslim, he has grown up hearing those Middle Eastern Islamic sounds though he is not from the Middle East. 3. He often slips onto those Islamic sounds in his singing and those in the Middle East say he is better at these sounds than any of the clerics in the Middle East. He is great because he was born with a nice amount of talent and has spent his life rehearsing and developing his voice.
