Olimpico is an aria in Italian, written by the poet Lilya Vinogradova and the musical composition by Master Igor Krutoy. . Nobody knows how Dimash can sing as he does... some speculate he has longer than average vocal chords, others attribute it to countless hours of practice since very young (he started at age 5). Possibly it is a combination of many factors, natural talent and hard work being the main ones. Either way, we get to enjoy the result.

Dimash said when he went thru puberty his voice deepened but he never lost the high voice...it has to be some sort of magnificent gene mutation.. no insult intended...that plus training since the age of 5, 3 hours a day helps😁😁 great reaction!! Thank you for your reaction, I enjoyed it. You're right, both Dimash and Krutoy have commented separately on their bond. Dimash has described Krutoy as his "schoolboy hero" - he wanted to be on stage, singing Krutoy songs, with Krutoy accompanying him. He has referred to him in interviews as 'father,' best friend and confidant. Given his success in China with the Singer contest, Dimash and his management team decided to focus on China for a few years (he lived in Beijing for 3 years). So he refused Russian producers when they called - until Krutoy called. (Krutoy is not only a beloved composer, but also a highly successful producer). Obviously he accepted Krutoy's invitation, and they've continued to build their partnership and friendship since. As for the high notes, he was a gifted child singer, one of those few who can naturally sing in a high soprano range. Throughout his childhood and adolescence, his teachers cajoled, pushed and kept him singing in the soprano section. Whatever they did, it worked, and he retained his upper range while adding the lower ranges typical of maturing. Amazing, isn't it?!

His work grows under the patronage of "DimashAli Creative Center", which was established in 1998 when Dimash was 4 years old, his own label run by his family and friends, allowing Dimash to experiment and create his own musical styles. About the arrangements...Dimash is very hands-on with all aspects. He is a very good drummer/percussionist and most of his pieces, even classical pieces like this, feature a very driving drum part. Dimash considers himself to be an artist who sings, and he has admitted to being very stubborn about implementing his musical ideas. Also, he has one of the world's great arrangers, Igor Krutoy working with him.

Dimash’s absolute pitch was noticed when he was 5 years old - he told a piano was out of tune and he himself was able to reproduce notes with perfect pitch aka absolute pitch. In the comments someone said he never lost the ability to sing high notes as he matured, but he did work to keep them. Genetically he has a longer larynx than "normal," no speculation, he has stated that himself. I am sure that helps a lot, but his still consistent training and vocal exercises has a lot to do with it.

BRAZIL -Dimash is totally involved in the music, repertoire, arrangements. He has a musical arranger (inseparable friend) Erlan Bekchurin and Dimash signals in what way he wants, how he wants and Erlan performs. Dimash is a workaholic, always working, we saw some rehearsals and the stage set up. The band is on the left, but the lights are off and we can't see it ... I've seen this show completely, it's incredible. When he dances, he rehearses 100%.

Just found your channel and you are quite interesting. Yes, Dimash is involved in all of his music, whether it is a live concert or a video. The is a series on KZbin regarding Dimash. It is called "The Ultimate Dimash Guide." I think you would find it very interesting. It delves into his character, his musical, even as a child. Hi Jacob, Excellent reaction once again, this originally sung at the European games then 5/6 weeks later, this performance at his solo concert at the Astana arena, Kazakhstan. There are many videos where Dimash is shown arriving during the set-up of his concerts and checking everything is the way he wants it, talking with the backing singers, dancers and his band even checks and notates all the scores .... Beginner level: sings in random styles (because they haven’t mastered any yet) Intermediate level: sings in one particular style (they found most comfortable with) Advanced level: mastered one or two styles (which they can sing perfectly in any different songs) Dimash level: back to sings in random styles (as he has mastered all of them) Note: For Dimash, things like styles, ranges, registers, genres are meaningless. He can use any of them without being restricted, and definitely not like to be classified. For him, arts is freedom. He will use any styles, ranges, registers and genres as he sees fit to the meaning of the song.

Hes been training since he was 5. He practices 3 hrs daily. He swims 25meter pools under water holding his breath to build lung capacity. The longest run he does is in Sinful Passion and its 23 sec without a breath. He sings 7 octaves and has hit a D8. Its in the song Unforgettable Day.

Dimash sings in many languages throughout a concert, but he only fluent in Kazakh and Russian, and is learning English. I would imagine he has many monitors with the lyrics because I assume it would be easy to forget song lyrics when you are singing in another language you don't know. This particular song is in Italian. (He sings so masterfully in so many languages that I think many of us forget that he doesn't really speak those languages!)

This is an old song with a new comment. You wondered at his envolvement. Even as far back as your first reaction of sos at the China show...not only him but the other contestants were professional singers with their own fans. Dimash was different: not Chinese, but Asian so he couldn’t win the show by the rules of the show. At 22 years old he already had two masters in classical and contemporary music, was in his doctorate, won a music competition .. the prize was a scholarship to the university at 15 years of age, sings in twelve languages, plays 8 instruments, has has over 20 years experience and education in music, because of all the sos renditions you can tell because each one is different that he has an ear for music and that he doesn’t lip sync. You can’t lip sync if the track is different every time. Yes he writes music for background instruments and vocals. He can do it either way by ear by note. Olimpico was a collab with Igor and dimash. I’ve always thought that since Igor was a big time producer before he came out of retirement for dimash that he does all the performance arts you see in the many collab. Now in 2021 Dimash Ali is Dimash’s production company. He produced qairim elim his first music video that hit MTV Friday night livestream about 5 months ago. His new video be with me was produced by his production company. Even if you didn’t know all of that you tell by the classical techniques that he uses when he sings especially how he ends a note and the drama of his of his body movements and choreography that he’s telling the sound engineer and the grips what do and the lighting has to be in tune with each break in the song. Before I even knew all his education etc. sos was a 10. He made it... created a 10. The producer of the show didn’t like what dimash wrote for his accompaniment and told him he would lose the audience right away if he did it that way. Dimash got angry, didn’t change anything and walked out of the control room.

Great reaction. Dimash has been singing since he was 5 years old so I think it is just continual training as to how he can hit those high notes. Both his parents are professional singers and his mother is is a soprano singer at the Aktobe Philharmonic Society. Igor Krutoy is indeed the man that you will often see at the piano; he is a multi millionaire Russian composer and producer, who came out of retirement when he heard Dimash, to write songs especially for him. Olympico/Ogni Pietra was the first song written specifically for Dimash. Dimash also covers many of Igor’s songs written before the Dimash era; Know, Mademoiselle Hyde, Love is like a dream,. Ti Amo Cosi, Ulysses. You should watch one of Igor’s full performances, which involves the Singers, full orchestra, full choir, and Ice skaters! « Ti Amo Cosi ». Dimash’s arranger is Erlan Bekchurin, a young Kazakh musician and producer. Even when Igor writes a song, Erlan is involved. Erlan arranged every song from the Singer show for Dimash, and to this day, they arrange everything together. Dimash is a perfectionist and he gets involved in all aspects of the show. He even tried his hand at producing a music video and it turned out beautiful, it is called « Qairan Elim ».

If you hear his parents sing he has both of their voices. He has also been training his voice since he was 5. Most men lose the upper registers at puberty but in some cases if you keep training you can sometimes retain them.
