Technically speaking, the two awards are: "Best Vocalist in Classical Music" with "Olympcio" (Ogni Pietra) and "Discovery of the Year" @ the Russian National Music Awards "Victoria" in 2019. I am a Mexican Dear and I was in New York at the Barclay Center Concert. His voice is perfect, clear, powerful. It's amazing to see it live. Dimash has a Dear here in New Zealand, it's 4 in the morning & I've been up since 3am with Dimash keeping me company. I am always sleepless around these early hours of the morning-why? I will never know but since finding Dimash 3 months ago I now have beautiful soothing company. I don't feel so alone like I always had. Oh I love your review. I agree that Dimash pulls us into his sphere. We are mesmerised by his voice and total presence. I listen to this gem of a young man everyday. I have never felt this way about an artist for years. Dear Madeleine, Thank you for getting back to Dimash. I have missed you reacting to him. PLEASE keep doing so and so you know famous composer, the bald headed piano player you will see in recent songs Maestro Igor Krutoy joined Dimash with the plan to compose several new songs just for him in addition to the multitude of songs he already has for him to sing. This song AKA Olympico was the first & the second is another Italian op-era song Passione. You can hear both as well as other songs at Igor's annual festival New Wave 2019. Igor also reworked his song Know for Dimash. He also had his 1st U.S. concert in New York on Dec. 10th that sold out.

"Master of everything," that's what Dimash is. Thank you for your brilliant response, Madeleine. The video itself is a fancam recording, which has become very popular. The Russian Maestro Igor Yakovlevich Krutoi was commissioned to compose an anthem for the opening ceremony of the 2nd European Olympics, Minsk, Belarus, late June 2019. Igor Yakovlevich wrote the music but in a way that would call for two performers, one for the low and the other for the high notes. He asked Dimash, which would you like to sing? Dimash looked at the note sheets replying, "I'd like to do both of them." The Italian lyrics are by the Russian poetess Lilia Vinogradova. The current video is not from the Misnk Olympic performance rather a later one. A rumour has it that there were Japanese organisers of the Tokyo Olympics present at the Minsk games, and that they are about to invite Dimash to perform at the opening of the Olympics 2020.

Madeleine, thanks for bringing it. Dimash is almost like we here in Brazil call "Demais", meaning "Amazing". It's Dimash or It's Demais! I never heard of him until this year, I think. In this song he was using only falseto or in the bass part he used his chest voice? I can't explain the size he opens his mouth. Everything he did was beautiful in this presentation, it is as you said olympic performance. Let's say he is prepared to compete if we had olympics for singers. I would also say Madeleine, your dress is beautiful, beside your talent you are always very well dressed. Very well... cya next video!

I love Dimash also, and your reactions to him. Because I love your reactions there is a young girl who I love also Her name is Angelina Jordan, she is a young jazz singer, was in Norway's Got Talent when she was 7years old singing Billy Holiday. She turned 8 during the contest and won it in 2014 now she is 13in this video she turns 14 today. She won the Golden Buzzer on America's Got Talent Champions on Jan 6th singing a soft jazzy version of Boeheim Rhapsody. She has over a hundred covers on youtube she covers Adele, Lana Del Ray, Amy Winehouse, and all the classic jazz Summertime, Feeling Good, Fly Me to The Moon. She has written her own songs when she was 11 and 12 like What is Life and Shield, She also has a video (black and white) of "I Put a Spell on you when she was 9 that will put a spell on you and you will want to see everything she does.

Ogni Pietra The author Igor Krutoy tell us that he wrote an “opera” but a difficult piece for two opera singers, and ask Dimash which part do you like to sing?....and Dimash say yes!....Dimash is not an opera singer but He has classical vocal Techniques (He has three) and the same subject and do it wonderfully!...for that reason love you Dimash! Correction: Igor Krutoy composed Ogni Pietra for Dimash alone. IK is so in tune with DQs capabilities and his need to constantly challenge himself, as evident in the close friendship between the two. There was a joke going around in Russia about IK asking D which part of OP he would like to sing, high or low? and that D's reply was - Both! Opera humour😄 a solo of different voice types in the one opera piece is unheard of.

Rosannasfriend, so true. I love watching his stance when he sings! As a singer, I am always in awe when he goes to his knees and bows down and comes up with some of his most powerful high notes. That’s what he is. I saw him live in November in Germany. You have no idea...nobody can prepare for this. He is such a raw, kind, human being. A godsend Prodigy.
