You just passed the first stage of becoming a Dear :-) - being blown away by his voice. The next stages are - learning - about singing styles and techniques, about languages he is singing, about his culture and other singers he is performing with, and then discovering the man behind the voice and the main reason why people love him so much - a surprisingly down to earth, gentle and thoughtful young man that is respectful and kind and deeply devoted to his family and country. I follow his carrier since early 2017 and every new song, every new performance he brings something new and unexpected while always delivering a 100%. Enjoy the ride! The Slavic Bazar is an singing competition that he won back in 2015. In this performance he was invited as a guest star. He speaks fluently Russian as Kazakhstan is a former Soviet Union country and people usually speak both languages Kazakh and Russian.

Thanks for a great reaction. Dimash is singing in French here. He has sung songs in 12 languages, predominantly his native Kazakh plus Russian, English, Italian and Mardarin. He speaks Kazakh of course plus fluent Russian and his English is pretty good and improving and a little Mandarin. He will be 27 in May. He has over 6 octaves to his range, A1? to D8 which is off the keyboard. He started music school with perfect pitch at age five, learning piano and progressing to voice up to obtaining his Master's Degree in Composition last year and is proceeding to his Doctorate. He is also a multi instrumentalist. He lives and breathes music. I think some of his most loved qualities, apart from his phenomenal vocals and charismatic stage presence, is that he is a very down to Earth, humble and respectful person with a kind and generous heart. He is so loved for all that he is and all that he does ❤

Kazakhstan is the northenmost and largest -stan up above India, Pakistan and all the rest. Jammed up against Russia and China. Dimash speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, since Kazakhstan was a U.S.S.R member up until 1991. His English is pretty good, but he's got the Asian pronunciation issues since he doesn't get out to the U.S. and the U.K. much. His Chinese is getting better because the Chinese "I Am Singer" 2017 competition was his real break out, so he has invested more in Mandarin. That's just near the top of his falsetto (E6), which is about the top note for sopranos in opera. He does some whistle tones up in the 7th octave and higher. Besides being a great singer, he knows his technical music/sound/stage setup, so you'll see his shows run very sharp in all aspects when he has control. This song was French. It was his opening song in the Chinese competition and lit up his popularity in China overnight. His Russian songs clearly have great expression and nuance. It's also kind of obvious that he is a perfectionist and completely commits to the performance and about 18 years of heavy practice as of this concert. This is what can happen when EVERYTHING goes right. Great vocal chords. Perfect pitch spotted at age 5. Opera and Pop singer parents. Lots of family support and individually he has a real hard working attitude. Daily voice training while going through puberty, thus holding on to the upper range.

It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. Some info about Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 6-7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe! He also sings in about 12 languages and speaks 3 so far. He is born in May 24 1994. Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and approved to start his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Kudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to. This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight. In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or hear Dimash before and he also had to start first... and after this song Dimash captured the hearts of millions of viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood at his door. If you let the video run, you will see that and Dimash usually thanks the other musicians and dancers, Intelligent, respectful, hardworking. No scandals. Support of loving family. Mother opera singer, dad contemporary singer and producer. 100 songs, each different, opera to rap. Even dances now. Interacts with audiences, getting them to sing choruses in Kazakh. I recommend Sinful Passion Moscow Fan Cam next. One of the best Dimash’s performances ever. Live. Welcome to Dimash’s world! Dimash came to NY city in December 2019 where he gave a sold out concert at the Barclay arena. You can find the whole concert on his KZbin channel. He spoke to us in English the whole time, which is a new language for him. It is heavily Russian accented and we call it « Dinglish »...he sang in English, Russian, Kazakh, French and Italian. He has sung in 12 languages so far! If you ever get to it, you should listen to the NY concert version of Daididau; he explains to us that all his life (since he was a child, and everyone laughs because he is only 25 yrs old there), he has dreamt to sing on a big stage in America, a song from his country; and there he is doing just that, in front of 18,000 people, with tears In his eyes, it is very moving; here is the link; kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5OVmp2HiM5qb8U . Try "Ogni pietra olimpico" It was composed for him. He sings the father part from bassbariton to tenor, then switches to the mother part from alto to soprano with a 5 seconds finale in E6. It is full female soprano, not whistle. He sings on a stage to a pop audience in full italien belcanto opera techniques and they love it. The orchestra plays R&B style i would say. There is another performance of him where he shows some real whistle note. Its just a frequency. D8 for some seconds as well. I think it is unforgettable day, Gakku. He has a lot of performances you can react to, all are awesome and unique. In the early ones his english pronounciation is not perfect but he sings in a couple other languages too.

Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh (Central Asia) singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve different languages. His fans are called DEARS because we are dear to him like family. He is well known for his unbelievable live performances and sings in so many genres it’s hard to know what to expect. Thanks for your wonderful reaction. Dimash is incredible. He has worked his entire life to become the artist you have just witnessed. He is the best technically trained singer in the world today. I have been blessed to have found him four years ago, and have heard his magnificent voice getting better and better, as the years have gone by. I have also seen him live on stage in New York, at the Barclay Center to a sold out solo concert in 2019. There were fans, which he calls DEARS from over 60 countries who attended the concert. He is also a very humble and compassionate young man, who loves promoting his country everywhere he performs. Please continue to listen to more performances by this amazing young man. Great reaction! Don't worry about not making sense after reacting to Dimash. He has that effect on everyone.🤯😁 He calmly destroys everything we thought we knew about the limits of the human voice. And you've only heard one song. Yes, SOS is in French. He doesn't speak French, which makes his interpretation even more impressive. He prefers to learn songs in their original language. No shade to PTX, but nobody you've heard sings as high as Dimash. He's very close to the world record. And his lows are lower now that he's in his mid-20s. But his range doesn't make him the best singer. What he does with that range, and all the other techniques he has perfected, is what makes him the best. Enjoy the ride!

Dimash used to be called 6-Octave Man, but a few years have gone by, and I'm pretty sure he can cover the entire piano keyboard now. He can even hit D8 that is off the keyboard. I hope this will be the beginning of a long Dimash marathon for you. His fans can't get enough. This was French. He sings in 12 languages...so far. We now hear him most often in Russian, Kazakh, English, Mandarin, and Italian. He also plays 7 instruments and is working on a doctorate in composition. I discovered him in the summer of 2017, when Pentatonix was searching for Avi's replacement and not giving me as much new music as they usually do. He popped up in the side bar. This was the first song I heard him sing, and I've been a fan (a Dear) and daily listener since.

I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living out our day to day life. His hard work for years is indeed bearing good fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a public listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the good content and message of its music. The fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said Ooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..? Etc, I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and be surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. I believed that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. Death is such a peaceful, joyful event in our life, if we die reconciled with God and at peace with others as well. Death is unknown to all of us, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times.
