Im 52 years old..I have listened to thousands of singers...I have entertainers I prefer over Dimash due to flavor but he is so good that he can force you to listen to styles of music you don't even care for...Im not a Country music fan but I would tune in if he was singing it🤣🤣 Dimash is hands down the best vocalist on the planet..past..present and future...this is 5 years ago...He is better now....I have yet to hear him even wobble a note live...He is perfect everytime...I actually want to witness a slight falter to prove he is human🤣....I suggest you react to Ogni Pietra 2021 or Stranger...Those 2 songs along with numerous others will blow you away more than this one...He is phenomenal!

Its actually 9 semi tones. Dimash's voice goes beyond the keyboard including a D8 whistle. He plays 8 instruments and sings in 15 languages. Hes been in vocal training since age 5. You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

This is the first performance in a contest in China and they did not know what to expect. This was a contest for professional singers and he was not well known and a wild card that wasn't expected to last for more than 3 songs. But he shocked everyone and the Chinese internet was shut down from over 600 million getting online to learn more about him. Next day he awoke to find bodyguards assigned to him. He became a star with one performance and and has not slowed down in his assent to become a legend. He had many sell-out concerts( one this month in Dubai) and his concert in NYC was a big event and his first in USA. He is singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, dancer, fashion model, and in textbooks in several countries in Europe, Asia and Russia, as a role model for students. He is also a humanitarian, and gives of himself to others. he sounds too good to be true, but he is; he has over 170 performances that are all worth watching.

📌 Welcome! Who is Dimash Qudaibergen? Dimash was born on May 24, 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. Height: (1.91m; 6' 3'). According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents and for a long time he kept his parents as his aunt and uncle. They all live together in one house. Dimash said: “Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life." He has been training in music since he was 5 years old. Dimash took second place only because it was against their rules for a foreigner to win. They changed that rule the following year. Dimash was the first to sing on the show. No body knew about him not even his competitors ( the people you seen at the end being surprised). After he sang this song and the next day he went to go outside they told him that he couldn’t go without his bodyguards! Dimash had gotten over 600 million likes on the Chinese KZbin. He was an overnight star! Looking forward to more Dimash most people continue on with the Singer shows before watching his newer stuff which is ok do what ever you want. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 27 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He is about to start his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, very elegant and very tall, Dimash is 6ft 3, 1/4. Note: There is another version of Stranger on KZbin which is not as good as this as Dimash was sick that day. Every Dimash performance will amaze and surprise.

Welcome to DImash. This was 2017. He has practiced a lot since then and has only gotten better. He did this song again in 2021 on his official You Tube during a digital concert he did which raised money to purchase equipment for an oncology center in his home country of Kazakhstan. It is stunning and if you want angel, do a version of Ava Maria, written just for him by famous composer Igor Krutoy. It has no lyrics, just his voice in a vocalize. He sings in many languages including his native Kazakh, Russian, Ukrainian, Italian, English, Mandarin French, Turkish etc. He speaks fluent Kazakh of course, as well as Russian and he has worked hard and is now very good in English as well. Check out his cover of All By Myself Bastau. There is not a performance you will not be shocked at seeing. One of his very best is Sinful Passion from New Wave. It is in Russian but has English subtitles.

Dimash was the first singer on the first episode of the show. He WOWED everyone with this performance. He became an overnight sensation and blew up in China and on KZbin! I discovered him just a week later when he covered Vitas' song Opera 2. 😂 All of those contestants backstage are professional singers/performers. The Singer is a show for only established artists and Dimash was invited as a Wild Card, because he was just starting his career in Kazakhstan. He was the first foreigner invited to participate and the youngest at the time. ❤ And they made the mistake of having him go first! 😂🤣

I think i remember that it wasn't blast overnight in KZbin, But in Weibo. Weibo is kind of youtube version in China. We can't access Weibo easily, cause i guess it's dedicated for people in China. And as long as i know, China have their own version of everything. Because they have huge population, with their own culture, own language and own alphabet. Forgive me for my bad english. He was 22 here, he’s now 27, you should hear him today! He’s absolutely amazing! Dimash is from Kazakhstan (Formerly USSR) This is a Chinese show for famous Chinese singers. Dimash was the first foreigner and the youngest ever singer to compete. He came second, mainly because it’s a state run competition and foreigners were not allowed to win in 2017. The lady who beat him said he should have won. The next year, in 2018, they changed the rules so that a foreigner could win and Jessie J from England won. Dimash did OK though, he’s extremely famous in China now and after this performance (it was downloaded 600 million times from Chinese Social Media), he woke up the next day with bodyguards outside his hotel room door. He spent 3 years in China after the competition. He won a singing competition in Belarus (Slavic Bazaar) in 2015 and that really was the start of his international career, but he was already well known in his own country of Kazakhstan. In 2021 he participated in Slavic Bazaar as a judge in the competition. His Mother is a famous Soprano in the Astana Opera House and his Dad is a Pop Singer / Producer. Dimash sings like both of them! Dimash was winning piano competitions at the age of 5 and he also started singing at that age too when it was found he had perfect pitch (he was already tuning pianos!) and was trained by the best vocalists in his country, attending music school full time from that young age. He still has 3 hours vocal training classes every day. He has two BA degrees in Vocals, Opera and Contemporary/Jazz, also a masters degree in Composition where he received a perfect score of 100%, he’s currently in his second year of a Doctorate in Musicality. He plays 7 instruments (every bit as well as he sings!) and he’s an excellent composer and arranger. He has also produced one of his music videos recently (and he’s excellent at that as well)! He’s a very humble, respectful and kind person, who still lives at home with his family and his extended family. He calls his fans Dears, because we are very dear to him! Just go to his official KZbin channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch from this point forward this was his first performance on the Chinese show "Singer" from 2017 he was 22 years old. He is now 27 and has done so many things since. He is a world renowned vocalist. You cannot call Dimash just a singer. You will see. Just watch everything he has done. He is an exceptional talent! 👉This was a historic moment and this is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) When I first heard Dimash 5 years ago, I couldn't believe my ears either. I was tempted to look behind my laptop like a little kid to see if there was another singer hiding there.🤣 From that day on, not a day goes by that I don't hear Dimash. This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight. The best comment from a Dear under this video: „If you are having a bad day, remember, someone had to sing after him.“ 🤣 The competition was open in 2013 to well-known professional singers from the music industry worldwide (theoretically). In reality, only 2 or 3 non-Chinese contestants (Koreans) attended the show. Foreign participants have been banned since 2016. (The ban was originally intended only for Koreans, but unofficially applied to all foreigners. The Chinese government wanted to ban Korean influence, even though the show was invented in Korea). In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time (politics). The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. Despite Dimash's planned brief presence, his name was intended to be symbolic and understandable to the public. Dimash was given the Chinese name Dimashi and the 3 syllables were assigned Chinese hydroglyphs: Di - achievement Ma - precious stone Shi - dream, wish. This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZbin ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won). For reference, Mike Patton's documented range is 6 octaves, which is also exceptional. But, as Dimash says, it's not about how many octaves he has, a secret he says he won't reveal, but rather that he should sing well. In many of his songs Dimash will only use 2 or 3 octaves and just move listeners to tears with the beauty of his voice. If there was ever a perfect marriage of song choice and artist this was it. Besides that Dimash really can sing absolutely anything he wants and is amazing every time. He is the goat in my opinion. Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is university-trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in fifteen languages. Although offered a position at the Astana Opera, he decided to carve out his career in contemporary music, mixing classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music. He gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus.
