This is my all time favorite Dimash song. I don’t understand why this is not more widely viewed worldwide. The composition, the profoundness of the lyrics, the instrumentation and the soaring vocals. Изумительная песня. Димаш, как всегда, погружён в музыку, расслабленно-собран (как это происходит, непонятно, но выглядит именно так) и бесконечно красив. Thank you Fil! This reaction to my favourite song (besides „Live will pass“ - from the digital concert) came just right in time. My mother died two days ago and while holding her hand in these last moments of her life I thought exactly what you said. Love not only for your dear family is important but to love all people and live. Sometimes you get diappointed, but it is up to you what you do wirh it an how you react. There is so much hate in this world right now but you have to resist and believe in postivity. In one of his instagram shares Dimash quoted Dale Carnegie: „Happines does not depend on who you are or what you have. It depends entirely on what you think.“ This is so true. Thank you for a great reaction and insights! You said many things so on point, about the extremes and how hate and division is fed to people. Because there are always those who make a profit from this. It seems hard, if not impossible, to get to the middle ground in today's world... 'War and Peace' is also my favorite songs. It is Dimash's own composition and his thoughts, written in Chinese by a Chinese poet. Such a good, complex composition and first of all, the important message. I love the lyrics, they are so deep and philosophical. I think the words tell what is essential to make peace: you have to believe it's important and trust that it's possible and then - take the first step! This applies to all relationships, be it between two people or the whole countries. Indeed, Dimash's art has so much substance. This is what I really love about him. And his sincerity. He means what he says and shows it by his own attitude, his example. He is a peace maker. He strives to seek unity, and what we have in common as humans. A good example of this is his 'Ave Maria', which he sang as a vocalize, without words. So, every culture and religion (and non-religious too) can find their own spiritual meaning from it. Religions often divide people, sadly; the spirituality is universal.
