DIMASH takes each song he performs to a level it has never before experiemced and this is one of them. It is a favorite of mine when Alla Pugachova did it, I have a cd of her songs with this one on it. I used to play it and hum the song often, but when I heard DIMASH do it I was totally shocked as always, as he gave it his own level of excellemce. Most russian singers say they don't plan to sing it anymore since DIMASH took it to a place that only their performance would diminish it.

I watched my reactions to this song and all the women, bar none, react in the same way, no matter how professional they want to appear to be. They look as if Dimash is singing the song personally to them and the look of adoration comes to the fore a d their eyes gets misty or teary or at the very least, soft and wistful. Another very enjoyable reaction. I have watched this performance countless times over the past years, and I am still moved to tears each time. This will always be one of my favorite Dimash performances. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva and modified it for Dimash to sing for this concert given in honor of Mrs. Pugacheva on April 8, 2019, in Moscow. As you might already know, Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose masterpieces for Dimash after watching his performance of Sinful Passion in 2018. He is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the vocal limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash addresses the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

Not really a happy song. He sings of lost love in actual life, and the only way to hang onto, to sustain it - it is to call it up in our dreams, where we can re- live that which is lost. I love this song and this performance of it. There is a much more vulnerable song of the loss of his loved one . He only performed it once. Too painful I think to continue to perform it. But many of his songs reflect how many of us carry a long lost love in our lives. Love your channel and reviews . Cheers
