He composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva, a very famous female Russian singer, and modified it for Dimash to sing. After watching Dimash's performance of Sinful Passion in 2018 he decided to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I miss you, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, just to name a few. It must be very satisfying for him to sit down and compose music without constraints (limitations by ordinary singers). High notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will achieve. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash is addressing the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

I think we all hold our breath at the end there. I almost can't stop myself from doing it unless I try to sing it. I have a really hard time with that note, it's at the extreme top end of my range without going into falsetto. I can match the tone for a few seconds but then I can't hold it. Sometimes it throws me into a coughing fit. I have no idea how he can do that for so long so easily.

This is why I, as well as others, requested this song. This is not a song with vocal acrobatics for the sake of it. This is a heartfelt performance of a beautiful song with great theatricality and acrobatics that suit its delivery. Which is why it's my favorite song of his. Sure he has a lot of songs where he shines, but this one shows that he is perfect in every way.

Cait, this song is one of my all time favorites. His lower dynamics are embracing, his subtle caress of your soul draws you in, erasing the pain, he heals. I alway wish I could like this performance three gazillion times, it's one of his very best performances, it's like he's singing directly into your soul. I kinda feel like I'm almost intruding in on his thought when he is singing this. It's so touching and he feels it so much. You're right, every syllable is caressed and every breath is melodious.
