The combination of these two artists is truly outstanding.. Stjepan and Dimash.. stunning! Dimash sings like a god and Stjepan plays like he rules the world.. and they very well may. This performance is a time warp that stops time and sends me back to when I first heard Dimash sing. I will never forget it.. it is etched in my mind forever. And may they live forever.. The pure beauty of Hauser’s cello intertwined with Dimash’s voice is stunning! Dimash and Hauser first met in person a year ago when they were judges for the Virtuosos’ young classical musicians competition. They recorded a short of Ave Maria while there. This was in Singapore at the gala for the Virtuosos. Both Hauser and Dimash will be judges again in Budapest in December. Hauser is known all over the world. He had a very successful tour of the USA last year, and is coming again this year.

I think, from comments I have heard, that the carbon fiber cello is unique. Hauser has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Madison Square Garden, and many other venues, with all sorts of stars.

I agree that Dimash has gotten better. I have noticed a change since the Istanbul concert. There is so much more depth and storytelling skills. In so many of his earlier pieces, it seemed he was still trying to prove himself to the world. Now, he seems so much more confident. He knows who he is and where he wants to go in the future. We are so blessed because of this.

Dimash does seem to sing even better these days. More depth and nuances, if possible! It was a remarkable performance. But a shout out to Hauser too. I love his playing and he seems to form a special bond with everyone he plays with.

They were in Singapore. Both were judges or part of the jury on a program called Virtuosos last year and collaborated on Ave Maria. Virtuosos is a Hungarian program showcasing young artists in the classical genre. Anyway, the Virtuosos team performed at a special event in Singapore recently and Dimash and Hauser performed there and performed this collaboration. 😊

This competition was created by Maestro Placido Domingo for young classical artists and Dimash and Hauser were there as judges. First of all, i am a Dimash fan, and this is a great performance. If you listen carefully to Dimash's voice in this video, you will realize that Dimash's voice is exactly the same as the one he performed at Slavic Bazaar 6 years ago. Not similar, but exactly the same. You can find this "old" performance on Dimash's channel with the title: "Dimash - S.O.S | Slavic Bazaar". Listen to the 2 vocals in parallel. ;) 🥰
