The bottom line here for me is simple. Dimash didn't meed World's Best and he doesn't need American audiences to be a star. We , as Americans, tend to forget that there is an entire world outside of our borders that will keep right on spinning without us. Dimash's first album went triple platinum in less. than. an. hour. That was without Rupaul's " help" . He doesn't need America. But he sure makes day to day more wonderful for us.

His "people" asked if there were going to be children involved in the show before he would agree to go on. They lied and told him "no children". When he found out that there were children he pulled out. Between being lied to and the show cutting his performances to shreds, I think he and his team made the right decision.

Димаш заранее говорил,что с детьми соревноваться не будет,но все равно жюри подстроило любезно ,,от большой любви,,,похлопав по плечу,обнимая,восторгаясь вокалом Димаша,все устроило к финишу именно так,чего не хотел Димаш. Ещё и этот чудик в красном наорал на Димаша. Американцы остаються американцами- лживыми и подлыми,но с голливудскими улыбками. После этого ДИМАШ ,наверно,сказал,что ни в каких конкурсах он больше участия принимать не будет.Вот и правильно! Его уже весь мир знает и любит и признают,что он лучший.

Димаш всё сделал правильно!!! На это шоу - не соревнование, а именно шоу - его ПРИГЛАШАЛИ сами организаторы, утверждая, что это будет именно шоу. А когда начался отбор участников, Димаш понял, что это всё-таки конкурс, но в нём не должны были участвовать певцы РАЗНОГО возраста. И оказалось, что если Димаш будет участвовать в финале конкурса - всесторонне подготовленный певец с огромным опытом участия в подобных соревнованиях и уникальным голосом - двум малолетним участникам он перекроет дорогу в будущее, возможно и навсегда. И вот тут проявилась багородная натура Димаша - он уступил дорогу начинающим, дал им возможность шагнуть на профессиональную сцену, иначе они оказались бы в "неудачниках", а таких шоу-бизнес не уважает.

Its a cultural thing. In Kazakhistan, Kırgızistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azarbaijan, Uzbekistan, WE NEVER RACE CHILDREN WITH ADULTS. It's a BIG shame to beat the kids. Correct or incorrect decision by Dimash? More than correct, very correct. The example given by Dimash should be the real "virus" for a healthier society at all levels. Singer and interpreter UNIQUE in the world, he is above all an example of Virtue, Love, Brotherhood, Dedication, Healthy Values, True Friendship, Goodness, Respect etc. We all look and learn from him. What they showed and what the whole thing really was,well,it's kind of 2 different things.They cut those parts which didn't suit,like when Dimash said that he only accepted to enter the competition after being assured he wouldn't compete against children.It was that very day,of the semifinals he found out that they lied to him.Ne never knew, due to strict confidentiality contracts,who the other contestants were.That was the moment he found out that one of the kids was a little girl from Kazakhstan,Danelya Tureschova,whom Dimash helped by giving her and a couple of other talented kuds a sum of money after his Bastau concert.How could he have competed against her ?He certainly didn't know anything about it.He was used,cheated and hurt.He did the right thing,no one can buy him,he proved it.

You both are lovely. I would definitely recommend the link given to the discussion of 2 of the Audience members. If you watch the show performance take note of his earpiece. The conversation he has with them about quitting the show is actually before he sings. They spliced his quitting remarks in with them berating him after he sang. My guess is after he quit they wanted him to sing for a final time for their ratings. The show actually kept contestants away from each other so Dimash had no idea he was competing with children until the night of the final.

Dimash signed the contract in condition that he wouldn't compete against children. It was by a coincidence he find out and this was the semifinal. Sorry for the long comment. I would suggest you stay away from any videos of Dimash at the Worlds Best. His performances as well as the other competitors were heavily edited, and chopped up. This video is as was aired, but it isn't even close to how it happened. He sang after he had quit not before, and the order of the questions, and responses was not how it went down. Some reactions and comments were before he quit, and some after, but all were scrambled and made to look like this was done after he performed. Dimash was pursued by many, including the minister of Kazakhstan Culture to do this show. One of the questions Dimash asked before he agreed was whether there would be children competing. The answer he was given was probably a NO since he would not have agreed to do the show if different. He even made reference to that during this show, but of course that was not aired. He had no idea there were children competing until this show was being filmed, which was a semi-final show. He happened to run into Lydian, the boy that won, and Daneliya Tuleshova backstage at the filming of this show. Daneliya is young singer from Kazakhstan, also a "friend," and is doing very well. Dimash was her mentor for another talent show in Kazakhstan, and has been her sponsor for another. They were very surprised to see each other. That is when he knew he was lied to, and it was at that point he decided to quit. There were two Dimash Dears in the audience that have done a video explaining how it went down. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joLKdH14o7epjM0 Both Gia Noortas, the judge from Kazakhstan, and Daneliya have also stated this is what happened. No worries though. What happened on this show, and the backlash the show received from thousands of Dears, American citizens, and others regarding this, is probably why the show has never been picked up for a second season. It may also have been the reason the show, that was to have been eleven episodes, was cut to seven. I believe it is also the reason The World's Best not only removed the videos from the show, but completely removed their channel from KZbin. The videos had thousands of negative comments about this, comments revealing the truth, disgust for RuPaul, and Faith Hill etc. Please don't believe the comment that those of us in the USA don't want anything to do with him, that "we" are angry with him, he doesn't speak English, that there is racism involved, etc. It is absolutely not true on so many levels. As far as Dimash not receiving a record deal in the States because of this show or his lack of English, is completely false. He has been approached by several music producers here in the USA, and in other countries, to sign record deals, but has turned them all down. He finds that contracts restrict him in what he can perform, record, what genre he can sing, what he can wear, do, etc. He wants to be able to sing music his way, sing what he wants to sing, wear what he wants to wear, record what and how he wants to, etc. Good for him for sticking to his principles, and doing what he wants to do. He will get there in his own time, and in his own way. He has a great group of people backing him right now. By the way his latest MV from the movie Creators:The Past was produced by Sony. Sony and Syco, which is Simon Cowell's company, are a joint venture. The Syco label is the global side of Sony. Please take a look at the above link to the video explaining what actually happened. Personally I was little torn before this show - I was happy for the exposure in the US for him but I feared that a big American record label might grab him and push him into meaningless pop music and that would be a crime in my opinion. This showed to me there is no fear for that (neither money or a future contract or bad publicity would make him change what he believes in) - he has his own way, his own views and he is following them. He has millions of fans from all around the world and his concerts are sold out in an amazing speed without any big PR or advertising - even in New York.

This show was BS as RuPaul said. They lied to Dimash and then cut out the part where he reminded them that he asked about children *BEFORE* he signed on to the show, (also, they approached *him* to be on because they knew he would bring ratings) and they said he would not compete against children. He ran in to Daneliya who he has mentored because she is also from Kazakhstan. When they realized they were both in town, they figured it out that they were on the same show. The fans who were present for the recording have told what actually was said and how it was edited and manipulated to make Dimash look bad. I’m glad he stepped down because he didn’t forget his morals and now he’s not tied to any stupid record contracts. The winners from American Idol for example, had to sign seven year contracts and had to record all the songs and commercials etc. that the record label told them was required. He didn’t need this show. He’ll make his own path with his head held high. He recorded a song Across Endless Dimensions for the soundtrack of an Italian sci-fi movie called Creators: The Past. I believe that was through Sony pictures and he does have some US contacts now. He had a sold-out concert in NY in December so I think he just needs a little more time and the support of his Dears.

Exactly! Rupaul and Faith Hill made me so mad for treating him like this. The disrespect they showed him on that shit show was horrendous from start to finish. He signed on not knowing kids were competing and he actually mentioned it to them when they were yelling at him. They didn't have an answer for him. The video didn't show that part but he said it. All the contestants were hidden from each other and didn't know who was in the finale until they got there. So he quit. It was the right move cuz he would've won by beating out 2 kids and he's not about that life. Dears hate that show, we hate it for many reasons. They cut all his performances down and they didn't even show one of his songs. They treated him like crap and shut him out of the US media. They used him and look at them now, there is no 2nd season cuz it was such a poorly constructed show. There's a video made by Dears who were there at the recording of the show. They told us what happened...makes me even more upset when I think about the whole situation.

It’s simple honestly. Yes, he knew he would be competing against a wide range of people, including kids or older... which is a huge pool of people.. but what he didn’t know or expect is that these kids or elderly will be competing against him head-to-head and so late in the game. That’s very, very different. Dimash has competed many times so it’s not the fact that it’s a competition. It doesn’t feel right because who ended up going against him head-to-head. Obviously those kids may be different at their stage of development also. You want to compete against people your age, preferably, or adults. This is very important to integrity. It’s not about competition- it’s just how it turned out. I’m sure he would’ve liked to continue. But it was the right decision based on these new circumstances.

Those judges don’t have the talents he has to bash because they want their ratings. Dimash accidentally bumped in one of the contestants who is from his country and recipient of his scholarship. They were not allowed to see the contestants. He was lied that there are no kids contestants in the contract. He is a decent man.

Always remember Dimash sang to a sold out crowd in NY. He is the winner. Look at Angelina Jordan. She would have won but, refused to sign a contract on AGT. You need to react to her. She won on Norways got talent when she was 7 years old. Everyone was mesmerized. She turned 14 while on the show. AGT pulled her performances from YT when she would not sign a contract, Check out “ I Put A Spell ON You”. Everyone is always blown away. America embarrasses me. He was used to gain more viewers and they lied to him. I hate this show so much. Liers that edited and cut everything putting him in a wrong light. Dimash was humble and kind, even if they treated him like trash. He had never accepted to compete against children. This was his condition. In Kazakhstan there not exist such things and Dimash had always supported kids. Before getting famous. He loves children. He stepped out in the most honorable way without complaining and refused 1 million Dollars as favourite of this show.

Hi Guys, Dimash didn't use the show. it was widely reported they approached him, being one of the most trending artistes on Yt and social media, before he signed up he asked if it involved children and was told no. Of course during the 3 weeks he was in the comp he did realise that minors were involved but with the producers knowing his feelings he thought it would be ok. When the semi finals came round Dimash was uncatchable with the points system but they put him in the semis up against two youngsters and he refused to sing even. The show was heavily edited throughout and according to a witness who was in the audience that confrontation was just as heavily edited, when it was televised he had sung (edited to almost non existant) before the confrontation when in fact he made that announcement before when he refused to perform against the kids they actually suspended the show for about 20mins whilst TV execs and producers tried to persuade him to continue, which of course he didn't but they did ask him to perform to keep the timings right which he agreed to. In the confrontation you can see Dimash's "Death stare" at Ru Paul and at that point, which was again edited out, Dimash did confront him when he said that Dimash knew what he was getting into, Dimash stopped him saying with due respect that was not the case, and that he was told there would be no children. Dimash forfeited the prize of $1,000,000 but went on to explain his countries culture towards children, he mentors kids, he judges kids, he runs his own singing initiative for children so how could he be expected to compete against them. 👍👍👍😊😊

Repaul saw later that this show was created becouse Dimash , he promise Dimash to never compete with childs but just the childrens was part of show but that was not true and Dimash for the culture he has and respect he has for his feeling decided to left and for me he did the right decision, becouse we have to stop who doing everything for the fame and money and they are shocked when find a person with clean and sane principles.

I think the reason he quit is because he was competing against his fellow countrymate, Daneliya Tuleshova. Dimash kind of close with her. Few days ago he included Daneliya in his video. Dimash sees her as a bright kid and has always giving her chance to shine.

No. It's not because of Daniyella. In Kazakh culture exists no competition adults vs children. They lied to him and used him for more views. The contestants had rules to not tell anyone about participation of this contest. They never saw each other. When Dimash found out by coincidence he stepped out. It was a coincidence that he saw Daniyella in town and realized they lied to him.

Maestro Igor Krutoy and Dimash = DREAM TEAM. Maestro Igor Krutoy in addition to being a famous composer, he is also a real life multi billionaire....six times Donald Trump's worth. He is the head of a big artist management agency and a producer of big concerts/events and successful tv shows. Dimash has many lucrative offers elsewhere though he is not as 'big' as some overly packaged and commercialised 'stars'. Dimash outstanding talent and skills are already a trademark and widely recognised else he won't be scouted to sing so many osts etc.

One of those kids was from Kazakhstan as well, but I remember watching her interview about the World's Best Show and she mentioned that it wasn't LIVE Show and Artists do not see other Artists. This proves that the WB Show lied to Dimash about kids participating in the actual Show.

I have to say I'm surprised at you guys. I would have thought you would be appalled at their ill treatment of him. The contract said he wouldn't be competing against children. They changed it on him. You don't understand the values Dimash grew up with. Adults don't compete with children seriously. Children and adults are not on the same level. Elders are to be respected. You will never be as wise or smart as your elder because you will always be younger. He says...no matter how old he gets...he will always be his teachers student. Why compete against children when they don't stand a chance. Dimash doesn't need anything from the USA. He already has put out an album. Albums don't make the money. Live performances and other side deals do. He doesn't need their money or approval. And he certainly doesn't need to be around people who show him such little respect. The way they talked to him and treated him was so hard to watch. But he held firm. He forfeited $1mil to stand for his principles. How many would sell out any principle for a buck? Too many in today's world. I can't stand Hollywood or the American music industry anymore. Vain petty people with back alley morals. Dimash is too good for them.

They lied to Dimash, His 1st question was, is there any children? They said no! Coz adults do not compete with children in Kazakhstan. They invited Him to the show and lied to Him. Ok, to put things into context I have to admit I never watched this show, not even one episode because in all honesty, I never knew about it. Stumbling onto this video and others like it because of the drama it caused, I proceeded to watch a few episodes and this young man named Dimash can sure sing, I mean he's on another level. I haven't watched all the episodes with him singing yet and got stuck on this last performance of him singing and leaving the show for his own personal reasons which I cannot do anything else but admire his convictions. Then to listen to a drag queen with absolutely no talent whatsoever attack Dimash for quitting the show on his terms and standards is a joke. Rupaul or whatever his name is, has no rights to come out barking *"BS!"* like a dog infuriated me and I think I would of b*tch slapped him if given the chance. As far as Faith Hill goes, her being a talented singer in her days should of not only respected Dimash's reasoning but also should of supported him as a real fellow vocalist. From what I've read and saw on multiple videos, it seems that Dimash was told he wouldn't compete against children. In his country and their upbringing/traditions, adults do not compete against children. Kasakhstan puts their children on pedestals and are very respected. You don't really understand other's culture. You think and see from your own viewpoint. If Dimash went ahead and won.....in his country he'll be viewed differently even if he were to do as you said...to go ahead and win and later on to 'propel' those kids forward. And if Dimash has not been lied to in the beginning, then what you said about this being a competition is still a competition will hold water....but it no longer holds any water when he was invited on to the show under false pretenses.

Before Dimash join this The Worst Best now that is the name to all dears ok before he join in that competition there is a condition that Dimash will not compete to the children and The Worst Best said there is no children because in Dimash culture if the competition is for children all are children and if adult all are adults in Kazachstan and one of the kids will compete to Dimash is Daneliya which is from Kazachstan also. Not only did the show lie to him about him competing with kids, but one of the kids is a famous Kazakh 12 year old girl singer. The show was super unprofessional from beginning to end, and they absolutely butchered the editing of Dimash's songs. Please do not waste your time on anything from that show. The best thing it showed is Dimash's integrity to walk away from $1 million prize and more exposure, because it was the right thing to do. Now you know why it takes him a long time to trust any company that wants to sign him. Ru Paul is the biggest unprofessional jerk I've ever seen. Oh, the condescension!

I haven't gone through the comments below, and it's old hat anyway. Fact is that Dimash never wanted to work "with" the music industry to get fame. He knows as well as we do (and as Prince, Queen and MJ did back then) that you had to to sell your soul and earnings to them...This event, as most of that ilk, was rigged. Besides, Dimash has not only his parents' help for the production and promotional side, who are themselves experienced entertainers, but als one of the biggest music moguls in the person of his composer/collaborator/friend/ other father figure, Igor Krutoy. Anybody who worked with megastars like Dimitri Hvorostovsky, Anna Netrebko, Aida Garifullina, Anna Pugacheva, Lara Fabian etc, has more renommé than the three US judges with vulgar RuPaul in the middle. Dimash has always done it his way because he will not compromise his artistic or moral integrity for anything or anybody. He will have had his "fame" without grovelling and backbiting.❤

You have to understand that competing against children is extremely dishonorable in Kazakhstan, so the whole "win and take them under his wing" wouldn't fly. They also butchered every contestant's songs because US television sucks. He also doesn't need the money as his album last year, released only in China at first, went platinum in 37 seconds, triple platinum in an hour.

Dimash would do well to stay away from the west. I've heard he insists on unfettered creative license; he pursues the neo-classical style. I believe Dimash said he made it clear when he heard the children would be invited to the competition that he doesn't compete against children. So they broke their commitment to him. Before Dimash signed, he was tol he would NOT be competing against children. He was lied to. There was a no win situation that they out Dimash in. To be honest this show was 100% designed around Dimash, but around controlling him. Imagine if Dimash would have competed against kids. He was put in a no win situation.
