SOS is the song that introduced Dimash to the world and opened many great opportunities and collaborations for him. There are a number of versions of Dimash singing this song, each different but all great. This particular version comes from the Dimash Digital Show put on during the pandemic after all live concerts were cancelled and he had to cut his Arnau Tour short. Dimash discovered this song when it was being sung by 23-year-old contestant, Gregory LeMarchal, on the French TV talent show "Star Academy" in 2007. Gregory won but died soon after the show from complications of cystic fibrosis while awaiting a lung transplant. So the song is close to Dimash's heart due to his appreciation and compassion for a fellow talented young vocalist, and he always sings it with deep emotions. The song SOS comes from the famous 1978 Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania', which is well known in French-speaking countries, and is a pretty difficult song to sing. In 2017 Dimash received a wild card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant ever at 22 years old and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part in this competition. Although well-known and respected in his homeland Kazakhstan, few in China knew or heard about Dimash before, but with his first song, SOS, Dimash shocked the audience and captured the hearts of over 600 million of viewers overnight, and the rest is history as the saying goes.

There are NO songs that are not amazing with this man! Yes, this was done during the pandemic to keep his craft going. He has a whole Dimashali set of videos that he did then. If your assistant got emotional during this song, then you should watch Adagio. It is one of his most powerful performances during The Singer contest and he will BLOW your mind with the power of that song. Please react to that one? Luckily, many of us are aware of the "phenominal" for each and every note. The skills and tools this man carries in his vocal toolbox are mindblowing. 😱👽😱 Great reaction. (3) Songs by Kazakh composers, folk music from Kazakhstan, which speak of Kazakh martyrs or love for the motherland, or moving stories in other countries: As an example, “Durdaraz”, “Elim Menim”, “Salmatau”, “Quiran Elim ” (the latter by Kazakh pianist Renat Gaissin), “Daybreak” (Han Hong), “Marigolds” (Ukrainian folk song), among many others... Watch "Story Behind Daybreak" (the backstory of the song plus what Dimash dealt with during the competition just adds extra layers to the emotional performance) and watch the MV for "Story of One Sky". I recommend a whole box of tissues. Honestly I cry most of the time listening to Dimash; whether it's just the beauty of the song, or the song evokes a particular emotion, or I just feel deeply thankful that I exist at the same time as him... You ain't heard nothing yet. Opera 2, Adagio, All By Myself, Unforgettable Day ( from the Singer 2017 ). Most folks like the Bastau performance because he hits that D8 note. I think you would appreciate the Singer 2017 performance because of the background vocals, and the orchestra, it is just great. Oh, can't forget Ave Maria, Sinful Passion, and Olympico. This is my favorite version of Sos divinely and perfectly sung by our beloved and unique Dimash..I like also other versions,Dimash has more of 60 different live versions of this french song very difficult to sing for anyone else but not for Dimash that is the only one on the planet that sing this song incredibly perfect and divine..The versions of I'm singer 2017 and Slavic Bazaar 2018 are good but are not my favorite,in my opinion are too overrated,while other beautiful versions are too underrated..King Angel Dimash Forever

He composed Omir showing his journey as a dedication of appreciation to his fans and released it on his birthday. Omir also has a lot of his deep voice which is astoundingly beautiful.

You need to watch Daybreak from Bastau 2017. Also he raps a little in Screaming. Also his Almaty concert from 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan is fantastic. 3 parts. He sings for over 3 hours. You must watch El Amor En Ti, a recent song. Finally he sang Kazakhstan National Anthem at the Canelo v GGG (a Kazakh boxer) fight in Las Vegas, 2022. His rendition was considered the best thing to happen for the entire night! 😄🥰

Great reaction. I suggest his performance of Adagio from the Singer 2017 singing competition. Most of of his songs have multiple performances that are all good but this song has to be from Singer 2017. It’s that much better than the others. Take care!
