Dimash would sing anything if he thought it was quality if somebody has some great songs....send them along. Art is not an assembly line cookie cut product. It requires talent, skill and inspiration. But..Dimash could sing tbe phone book and still give it meaning.

This song was composed by Dimash in 2017 in collaboration with Chinese lyricist Yao Qian. Dimash openly champions peace wherever he goes. His 13 minute masterpiece MV “The Story of One Sky”, which took him 3 years to compose, conceptualise and script, is a must watch. 🙏🏻🇦🇺

More fitting than you realize. This was shot during pandemic on a sound stage in Kyiv, Ukraine, a little over a year before the full scale invasion by Russia. The director & most crew were Ukrainian. However Dimash has many colleagues & Dears in both countries. He also performed this song in Kyiv for his live concert- the last concert before his world tour was cut short due to the pandemic in 2020.

tbh this conflict has been going on for decades in one way or another and has way more layers then most people realize or the media cares to explain BUT I have no doubt he took the opportunity to play this there for that very reason. From what I have learned he is a very smart and deeply centered person so that makes a lot of sense

This performance was also in Kyiv on a soundstage. And he knew what would happen because it was currently happening. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 & occupied 20% of their country on false pretenses. As they did with Georgia, Chechnya, Estonia, Finland, Poland, & others. So as he performed that song on stage in Kyiv, he knew people were currently dying every day. He loves all his Dears.

As some have said below, that Dimash composed the music to this song. I'd like go add, hemwas only 17yrs old when he did that. Soo much more than a singer, he is a complete musician. ( he actually has attained a Masters Degree in music, and other degrees for various genres. Etc and soooo much more).

Can you believe his concerts are three and a half hours long! And even then it’s hard for him to leave the stage. I’ve been to three concerts and even when the show has a set title like Stranger Tour, there is usually a couple of new songs, new outfits, new graphics etc. he doesn’t stop trying to improve and give an even better concert, He is phenomenal.

This is such a beautiful song. The passion and desire is fantastic and incredibly executed.
