👉Wow, what an eye catcher Dimash is again and again. The whole package: looks, voice, movement and above all character. That little smile blows my mind and the rhythm makes my feet dance all by themselves. But like Fly Away, this dance song gets meaning through the lyrics. Zhalyn/ Flame, a dynamic song in the Kazakh language, was written by Kazakh composer Yedilzhan Gabbasov (co-author Dimash Qudaibergen). Yedilzhan wanted to create something Kazakh with a modern sound: “As a kid I listened to a lot of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and other quality music. This is often my main source of inspiration...“ ...you can hear it. The Poet Nurzhan Askhatuly shared what he wanted to express in the lyrics: “To change for someone else is tantamount to losing yourself. If you have changed yourself, you are no longer you. You turn away from your nature and become a completely different person. That’s why I think we should try to understand and accept anyone, no matter how different they are from us. That’s the main point of the song.” The music video was filmed by Kazakh director Shyngyskhan Tazhikeev in the MOOD VIDEO genre. This music video was an experiment both for him and for the performer himself. During the creation of the music video there was no script with a story. (Dimash news)

Dimash wrote on his instagram: MOOD VIDEO for the song "Zhalyn" on my official KZbin channel. This is not an official music video. Thank you very much for your reaction. I like that you always pay attention to the lyrics, thanks a lot. The lyrics in his songs have a big message sometimes to a greater or lesser extent, but always give that question mark and a moment to reflect. Thank you and best regards. #togehterforever❤

What I really like about your reactions is text analysis. Few people pay attention to the lyrics, which often give a song a general meaning or symbolic reference. Of course, not always and not in every song, Regards 🔷🔹🔷🔹

I love the video and the song is starting to get me. The initial shock is replaced by awe, and when I read the lyrics I understand why he makes this song. Only one little bit, when the beat drops 3:12 I wish he could create a little dance routine (Janet Jackson If video comes to mind).

Really enjoyed watching you enjoying Dimash! Your comments were heartfelt and appreciative. Dimash is the best. Zhalyn was written with his friend who brought the melody to him, and according to his friend, Dimash immediately wrote the chorus.

I just found your David Phelps reactions tonight, and I really wish I had found them earlier! I've been a huge David Phelps fan for at least 20 years, and he's even more amazing live - seeing End of the Beginning live as a brand new song was out of this world! If you want a really good Christmas bop to react to, David does a fantastic cover of Jesus What a Wonderful Child, which was originally recorded by The Angelic Gospel Singers in 1950. If you want to cry, David's original song He's Alive will definitely do that. I'm sure you can guess by the title what it's about. I would really recommend everything by David because everything he does is masterful, especially since his gift is given to him by the Master. I can't wait to see more reactions from you. God bless you, sir!

Thank you for your reaction video to Dimash's latest work. To be honest, I don't really warm up to the song. I like part of it, especially the oriental-sounding melismas and the part with the dombra (?), but I don't like the chorus at all. That's mainly because of the second, overlaid voice. This combination creates an extremely unpleasant sense of dissonance for me. Pink, for example, does this in her songs in an almost inflazionary way, and the Beatles also did it very often, which is why I don't like either of them very much. This is not Dimash bashing. I adore this man and have been to one of his concerts. So no hard feelings, please. This song is just not my cup of tea. Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭
