which p450? im curious what the effects of a suitably short acting inhibitor (or higher affinity substrate) of the p450 and then a reversible mao-a inhibitor and .5mg/kg of dmt all together would do.

Grapefruit juice has a chemical that is a competitive inhibitor of cyP450. That us why you shouldn't take lots of drugs with grapefruit juice. A MAOI is s better choice of chemical to potentiate DMT. The Harmine and Harmaline alkaloids from Syrian rue are the cheapest and safest because they are reversible competitive inhibitions of MAO enzyme.❤

I will be that guy and throw the curveball out here. Even if you're using a scientific approach anybody who's dabbled in dimethyltryptamine knows that it goes much deeper than that way past a neurological or biological mechanism. That being said look up the sacres secretion and once you're done digging through the garbage and actually find some solid research or the effects come back to this video and connect the dots. It's in everything we're unaware of it because of our diets and lifestyles. This theory has been tested if you line up a specific time of the month take bioplasma cell salts prior for an extended period and literally flush your system by not eating for a few days and then ingest dimethyltryptamine the effects go way past a simple trip... But don't take my word for it just some friendly advice.

You know over the years i have had a good bit of experience with Dmt. Now there is something about this drug i would love to study. I would love to study DMT'S potential as treatment for headaches, I know it sounds weird but i have never taken something that worked so well at getting rid of headaches. I had one of the worst headaches in my life, Did some dmt and that headache was 100% gone when i came back. It was a miracle my headaches are dehabilitating, usually only opoids + nsaids can cure them

I appreciate how informed we are with these substances at a chemical level. At the same time, people that choose the synthetic version are not taking this medicine the way that nature intended. If you're just chasing a high, then I understand. If you want a real experience, you need to try the natural version. A "bad trip" is what you NEED sometimes... Those are the most enlightening experiences. You can't pick and choose at a chemical level and expect a breakthrough. Those other molecules are necessary to be grounded ultimately to this world in my opinion. I've had a "bad trip" twice, and now I only prefer the natural medicine since I got most of the previous trauma/ego already done with. You are NOT doing 5 meo dmt if you are taking it synthetically, you need to experience "bad trips", in order to reach the next level naturally. Synthetic version eliminates all the nature, and you are within your thoughts only in a way. A so-called "bad trip", is the best trip and you need nature's presence so in my opinion, you need to try the natural version.

The bad trip thing is starting to become common knowledge in psychedelic circles, I hear it more and more and totally agree. As for synthetic being in any way less, i've personally had the expereince and often heard from people that they find it indistinguishable. I actually think its a very harmful superstition, considering the toads are going extinct because of people treating them in an extractivist way. See also Hamilton Morris' Video on this

@@spadress Like with most great things, humans will find a way to destroy them to make money or just be selfish. 100% agreed that these toads are now being hunted regularly and we will eventually lose that gift, and we deserve that. My point is simply that the synthetic version is missing all of the good stuff, I've tried both many times and there is 100% a difference. Only depressed people or people really struggling should be allowed to do the natural version, college kids and regular people just looking for a good time should do the synthetic version. This is my opinion.
