That head is a massive improvement over the original but I must say I can’t imagine how much of a pain it must’ve been paint those teeth

What sucks is that we shouldn’t have to make these kind of modifications just to get our figures to look screen accurate! As a “premium collectors item” it should already look like that out of the box. I just wish Mattel would be more serious about the Hammond Collection.

Would be cool if there was a replacement head sculpt that actually looks like a Dimetrodon head. The whole design would've been way better if they just didn't make the head look like a generic theropod head. I'm not asking for complete accuracy according to the latest studies, just don't make it look like if someone took a random theropod dinosaur's head and glued it onto a headless Dimetrodon's body, like those cryptid taxidermy art pieces.

Marco I have been thinking of putting articulation joints to the mainline jw figures because I make stop motion in my channel, but idk if I could ever do it that’s why I am asking you if you have ever tried and if it is possible. And bro I can’t believe Mattel a company with billions of dollars can’t even get his figures in a good quality but BOTM a really small company makes incredible quality figures

I’d imagine it would be very difficult and not look very good because you would have to cut into the sculpts and create space for articulation. You’d be better off either buying super articulated figures or designing your own so they don’t look bad.

So is most of the paint being put down dry or does it have at least a drop of water? I wanna make sure I know how to properly paint this when I get the new head since this will be the first time I've ever done this kind of customization

I always dilute paint with water. It helps loads!
