Rosemary bread . The aroma in the kitchen must be amazing. Beautiful bread! Rosemary bread and Greek olive oil for dipping the two together seem amazing. Thank you Dimitra for the bread baking tips as well.

That's one nice looking loaf of bread! Definitely going to make this! Most of the bread I make is mixed in my bread maker on the dough setting, always works out great, then shape and bake it after.

This would be wonderful spread with tarama salata (carp roe caviar spread)or meltzano salata (roasted eggplant spread) tzatziki (yogurt,cucumber, garlic, dill spread) or dipped in EV olive oil and balsamic vinegar.Must make this,I'm starving already . Eucharisto Kopelia!

Why half flour and half bread flour? Could I use all AP flour?

Yes, you can :) Just knead it a little longer.

As a first time baker, I followed her instructions and made a delicious loaf that was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Anyone can make this bread. 10/10

Yes, you can. The flavor will be more intense, so keep that in mind..

You're welcome! I know exactly what you mean, because before I started baking bread, I too was very intimidated by it. Even in cookbooks, it was always so complicated. I'm so happy to share these tips with you all and I hope you make it and enjoy the comforting goodness :)

On the way from Prague back to culemborg, Netherlands I was chatting with Pauline (and Wiel) about things like trains thundering over the bridge and Thursday equals Thor's day and I was telling them about a German book we did at school called das brot der fruehen jahren and how I loved the description of how the fresh bread tasted etc my

Actually, when she proofs it the second time it comes right back. I was always taught that you knock the air out after the first proof, which makes it easier to shape. After shaping, you proof it a second time and then bake

Really disappointed with this cook. #1 she speaks took fast. Started her receipes not saying how many cups of flour!!! She goes Wayyy to fast. Decided not to follow!
