Watching this channel makes me so nostalgic. I grew up in a predominantly Greek neighborhood in NJ. My family is Palestinian. Our neighbors were the MOST hospitable, generous, and warm people we had ever encountered. Anytime they baked Greek desserts like these cookies, they made sure to give me or my sister a plate to give to my parents. I'm planning a trip to Greece this coming spring and can't wait for all the food and the awesome Greek hospitality😍😍😍😍

Yum! These are my all-time favourite cookies because of the almond extract and the chewy interior. They're a very different texture than regular cookies because of the almond flour but that's also what makes them unique. In Italian They're also known as amaretti cookies

SO these keep fresh for a week at room temperature then they tend to get a bit soggy... I would not freeze them for the same reason. Happy Holidays!!

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I’ve tried 2 separate batches and my dough doesn’t form into a ball at all. I’ve double checked all my ingredients and I whipped the egg whites and sugar until it reflected the consistency in the video but each time I add the almond flour, the mixture absorbs all liquid and will not form a ball. All I end up with is dry mixture. Please advise what I’m doing wrong or should there be more liquid that’s not in the recipe?
