As a retired person living alone,I found the comment section on this video great fun,I had a good laugh thank you all that participated.I have no quick teas in my freezer though I have tinned tuna, salmon, and sardines,in the cupboard and flat breads, some tomatoes, but mainly I cook 3 days a week, and alternate my meals, then the next week I make 3 different meals,I like a verity of different foods,I have some sort of soup in the fridge every week too.

Some of the tastiest soups are the dry packet ones (not cup-a-soup types) that you rehydrate on the hob. Often best to use slightly less water than recommended. Plus nice with some cheater garlic bread (toast some bread; rub with a little bit of raw garlic and then butter).

After Gaz reviewed Aldi’s jumbo cod fish fingers in salt and vinegar batter I’ve been addicted to them. They only take 11 minutes in the air fryer. I have them with Bramwells tartare sauce and fresh tiger bread. It’s now my go to fish finger sandwich, thanks to Gaz! They’re massive too I can only fit three in the bread I use.

Nice job putting vinegar on the peas. Very few people seem to do it, but with a knob of butter and lots of pepper it takes them from bland to scrumptious, for me.

This looked delicious! When I saw the title "freezer tea," as an American, I was puzzled. I know how to make "sun tea" (iced tea made by brewing the teabags in the sunlight), but I couldn't figure out how brewing tea in the freezer would work. I'm just glad you can't see me blush!

These types of dinners were called ”ifit’s” growing up in my family. If it’s in the freezer, or it’s in the cupboard,… it’s dinner! We mostly ate ifit’s towards the end of each month.

Those mushy peas are excellent, I get about 3/4 can a month. They go good with soup as well. I have the chips from frozen and defrost the fish.[I find when I cook from frozen it gets very dry but if defrost and then cook it gets crispy] cooks good either bake or fry. ALSO like eggs chips, sausage and beans.

Everything in moderation, it is a good thing that they have reduced the salt and sugar content in processed foods, you can add both to it if you desire, but for most of us it is a good thing. Using less of each means you actually get to taste the food itself, not just sugar or salt.

Healthy vegetables?! Since when were mushy peas healthy? Looks OK though. If this is a freezer tea, I wonder what a fridge tea would consist of? Quiche and salad? You need to get into stews and homemade pies, thinking of Cottage Pie or Sausage Pie. I'd give you a 7 out of 10 for your efforts. Bon Appett!

If I was reviewing food as frequently as yourself, my frezer, cupboards, maybe even a cellar full of food might have accumulated by now. Since we're now getting into spring, maybe it's a good time to, kind'a spring-clean, clear the backlog, and create more videos, potentially great ideas for mixing up ingredients- in turn creating space. A positive step, in life! I think that for me would lead to a reduction in my own stress levels, when I create space, in my kitchen it's available for future use, instead of me feeling confined and trapped, by a seemingly unusable mountain of food.

Dude! I eat freezer teas pretty much every day. 😁 I eat frozen fish probably 2-3 times a week (normally Birds Eye battered or breaded haddock). I used to get Batchelor's mush peas but switched to Newgate brand from Lidl (just as nice but a lot cheaper). I stick them in a plastic bowl and put a good bit of fresh ground black pepper, a bit of salt and a dose of chilli flakes in then microwave. I get Asda Homestyle Crispy straight cut frozen chips - they're nice and I oven cook them with the fish 30 minutes.

Oh I so want fish n chips NOW ... Where's the wedge of lemon....????... I taught my girls about tartare sauce and lemon wedges for fish.... We visited a cafe somewhere ordered fish n chips n peas bread butter juice.... Plates came to table and the 3 of them looked at their plates and the waitress and said... Can we have tartare sauce and lemon please.... If looks could kill... I would be a dead Mum, the waitress was so u chuffed!!.... I had to explain to the girls not everyone ate tartare sauce or had wedges of lemons with fish etc..... Oops. My Girls are adults and they insist on having tartare sauce with chips every time.... Salads and fish /prawn/calamari must have lemon (I did not introduce them to calamari the youngest loves cooking so has a very wide range of likes....) so to answer the question..... Freezer tea... Birds eye chicken chargrills original or BBQ, chips or wedges whichever is there... Sweetcorn relish (for chicken husband uses onion relish) maybe baked beans or maybe BBQ sauce, sweetcorn.

Hi Gaza, Just picked up pig's kidney's, pig's liver, ox heart and a tray of belly pork all ready for some homemade faggot's, mincer will be working overtime tomorrow but I did think those chips and pea's would go with them, especially with a splosh of onion gravy. Great scavange vid, thank's mate.👍

0We are having exactly that tomorrow night, but I will be making the chips from scratch. (pre steamed then air fried) We'll be having marrowfat peas and (frozen) battered fish too. Not bread and butter tho - it was always forced on me as a kid so i just don't.

My guilty pleasure before moving to arizona was kershaws steak and chips. I went through a phase where i think it was morrisons done 3 for $6. Id have them breakfast, lunch, dinner. I know they're disgusting but its like something you shouldnt look at but cant help yourself.
