As a kid I thought this game was unrealistic especially when it came to the customers getting pissed so quickly until I got my first job at a restaurant and realized that it's actually pretty accurate 💀

I can relate to this - my first job was as a waitress too and I quit after a few days 😅 I can't explain why I still enjoy this game after experiencing it in real life

I never forgot this series! It was my gateway to gaming when I was in fifth grade! Owned the first four games and Wedding Dash (I found my old disc for Hometown Hero a few weeks ago). I’ve been playing the games again (thanks Internet Archive), mainly Cooking Dash which for some reason I’ve completed about 10 times in the span of a month or so. I’ve also completed Restaurant Rescue (the first game I’ve ever 100 percented), Hometown Hero, and BOOM. I love this series and wish the older games could come back so I can get them through official means.

I used to loove the whole series of Dash games, I remember they expanded the universe and there was a final game including all the characters and a wedding/baby.

omg besides the dinner dash game there used to be like a story type game about flo and her neighbourhood where you had to complete all kinds of side tasks, I remembered you had to pay to play the whole game so that was sad but ugh does anyone remember it!! 😭😭😭 I loved the hotel games the most tho 💔

I forgot about this game for years, but I don’t remember playing. I suppose Purble Place was offputting enough to where that and PutPut Saves The Zoo are the only games I can remember playing. Thank you for this random slap in the face of vague nostalgia.

Oh, wow! This was a surprise. Got this game at the clearance section at GameStop and still have and play it to this day! Didn’t know there was others in the series, I just have the physical copy on the DS

Dinertown was my favourite! I didn’t like just dashing around being the waitress; I liked the storylines and point/click adventures they did!

I have thought about this game. My sister was a fan and we could only play the demo/short trial so many times cause we couldn't afford the game. There's also a spinoff that based on the wedding!

I never got far due to me deleting apps as soon as I got bored. There were a couple Spongebob spin offs! That and Wedding Dash. And a whole lot of other spin offs that nobody cares about XD

Hello! You definitely can still play it, I downloaded it from the Internet Archive. There were some extra steps to make it run on Windows but there is a tutorial on youtube it's not very complicated! I hope this helps 😄

I wonder if you’ll ever touch on the spinoffs of this? I don’t remember the name but I know it doesn’t follow the typical Diner Dash Restaurant sim. It’s more like an open world type of game where you prepare for a wedding and have to complete different puzzles and tasks while exploring different parts of the town. And also another game where it’s like Diner Dash but it takes place in a hotel and you’re playing as another character, I remember bits of playing this game before. If anyone knows the names of the games, I’d appreciate it!
